I’m so impressed with how you jumped right into stranded color work with your first two sweaters! It takes a lot of knitters years to work up the courage to do it! Also the two at a time socks. That’s how I knit mine too. It can feel like a slog but imagine just knitting one and then know you have to knit another one a second time 😝 anyways, loved this and look forward to future videos!

Tip from Sweden about lettlopi, never wash it or just ounce a year. I put my lopi sweater in the snow cause wool is self cleaning

Such a great first episode! I loved all the projects that you shared. I'm also working on a Pressed Flowers Cardigan and I've become obsessed with it! I also loved that your shared your quilting. I know a lot of knitters also sew but I don't see a ton of quilts, which is what I lean towards in sewing 🙂

great first episode! your sweater is AMAZING I would never in a million years have thought it was your first attempt. i am obsessed with sock knitting, I made about 30 pairs last year. for me they go super quickly, but I think that's because I mostly neglect other projects (and life responsibilities) to work on them.

@@jacqueismaking usually just vanilla socks. I’m a magpie for crazy speckled yarn so I like to let the colours do the talking. I took knitty nattys perfect for socks course and it helped me create a sock recipe that is perfectly customised to my foot measurements.

I love the colors you picked for your Pressed Flowers cardigan! Mine is currently sitting in timeout until the spring. I think silver buttons would be so pretty with that shade of grey and plum. I get bad second sock syndrome so I really want to learn how to do them two at a time.

Thank you so much! I love that yours is in timeout 😂 that’s a great idea for the silver buttons, I love that suggestion! I’ll see what I can find! Do you ever knit magic loop? I felt like two at a time was more intuitive than I thought. Crazy Sock Lady has a great tutorial on how to do two at a time!

@@jacqueismaking I tried doing magic loop when I first started knitting and was using needles with a really stiff plastic cable and I hated it. I should give it another try now that I have better tools
