I have watched countless videos with this family and this is one of my favorites! Katie’s voice is sultry - especially the parts where she speaks! I like this tonal quality better than all her other songs. Sounds natural and not forced. I love it!!!
KO Kate. And crew. Despite the sound quality, she sounds really good. She really shines in the peppy songs. Not only those. (oh well, i'm just a fan in a cave.
They are such great artists. I've binged on so many of their songs and I defy anyone to listen to the Fox with Ger O'Donnell and not be grinning and toe tappin'. Fell in love with these ladies long ago. God's blessings on this family.
Hi Sooch. I hope you see this post even though it's been over two years. I wanted to ask you if you have any more news about this song? Is it an original song from them? I saw that Liz didn't post the lyrics like she usually does. This is only a my curiosity. I wish you, as always, a good weekend.
@@Roberto-pd8vn hey Roberto! Well I know that Katie wrote it apparently based on what she referred to as "sad circumstances ". That's all I know about it. Yep it was the first time I clicked on the Petersens. Seems so long ago. Go to it. I posted in the comments. God bless you my friend.
@@Sooch694 Thanks Sooch. I am well informed about California. It is one of Katie's most famous songs. I really meant the song from this video which remains a mystery to me. It doesn't appear on any of their albums and I don't think it's a cover because I've never found another video with this song. Maybe Liz will be able to tell me more. Thanks again Sooch, here in Italy it is early morning and therefore a new day begins. I wish you that your day is also bright and happy.
The into guitar licks have a Ritchie Blackmore feel to them. That's a compliment and the Highest I can give you. Ritchie is probably greatest and well rounded guitarist in History. That being said I love this song and Performance. Is Katie still writing fantastic songs? Hello Katie! Am you're number one fan am the man from Tennessee.
@@FrankvdMuijsenberg I also recently discovered that this song was written by Katie. It's strange that it's a little known song among the original ones. I've never even seen the lyrics written by Liz. A new movement could be proposed: Bring Back the "Indian Man". 🤔
A fine group but what an amazingly tone deaf song, even if not overtly racist. Calling herself a squaw shows a real ignorance of what the word originally meant
Squaw means woman in Algonquian, you fuckin' PC-mouthpiece, get the hell back to whatever liberal-arts college hellhole of a welfare-check-receiving household you crawled out of.
To; Ron Culpeper , just who is showing ignorance ? The song is also about two people from two different races, Indian and white so yes the song is racist but it's okay mister ignorance.
