This interview really proves,Don't judge a book by it's cover!! He may look rich now but he"s really been through it!! This is one of the best Interviews on this platform...
I have lots of admiration for your amazing grandparents. They’re beautiful souls, listening to you talk about them melt my heart. Often as parents, we worry about our young children being vulnerable when something happened to us… God came through for you and he’s with us all. Kind wishes to you and your siblings 🙌🙌👏👏🙏🙏🙏
Let’s accept the fact that Ghana is not there yet. But we must never forget that Americans suffered their way to where they’re today. Some people took to themselves as patriotic Americans and build the great USA. I love Americans patriotism. It’s something I admire so much. We need to learn and build Ghana the same way. This notion of wanting Ghana to function like America that have experience over centuries of human development is so flawed
So heartbreaking watching this .....i have never felt this broken for my fellow man but in all we give thanks to God and his kind wife for the turnaround in his life...Indeed abroad is not destined for everyone.
I'm going for my American visa interview next month but this interview has relieved me of the fears i had. Whether i get the visa or not, I will not be bothered. I'm super good in South Africa.😂
His life started from a level of poverty and desperation that led to a series of unfortunate events. Nothing was planned for his existence so subsequently it was a struggle for a long time. There are still a lot of kids being brought up in Ghana and neglected to fend for themselves, so such stories will continue to come up for years to come.
Honestly speaking from personal experience experience abroad, this guy is a raw testimony and every abroad as he narrates is true and factual. I’ll one day narrate my personal experience.
Ameyaw you know I’m proud of you right? I never knew you were going through all this back on campus and yet you were that generous. Wow. Even before travelling to come here( UK) , I remember you stopping to give me ghs100 for lunch. UK ha de3 whiii ni ha Ampa. Hopefully we will meet in Ghana soon
It depends. Some folks go to school here and do well. Others also have their own businesses and doing well. Others also work minimal jobs and doing well. As long as you cut your coat according to your size, you should be okay.
It was called Holiday maker visa. By 2005, UK was not what it was in the late 90's. Jobs were abundant in the late 90's by early 2000's it had started cooling off.
Sometimes I don't know if I should call it bad luck or near success syndrome. The year I knew of someone to connect me at CUSTOMS, he was dismissed from te board. 10 yrs after uni,I appl to a Canadian school.i have admission now and submitted my visa only to learn that international students intake has been reduced. This life
Its not Opambour, though divine favour and faith works but let me be honest to you based on my American visa experience, they prioritise on travel experience than other factors, cos they always give the benefit of the doubt about all non immigrant intentions;so your rich travel history favoured u my brother.
He's been instinctively programmed to believe that he's vulnerable because the devil is blocking his chances. That's where his belief lies & no amount of words will shift his thinking. It's all about nurture & nature. Some will also attend the interview, with no akwankyerɛ whatsoever, and still get the visa, no hustle at all! Hey! It's a luck of the draw. Each to their own I guess.🤷🏾♀️
DJ, you ask why abrofo do not go to prayer camp for visa? DJ, my concern is why is the pound sterling to the Ghana cedis not 1 to 1 exchange rate? We are all on earth as individual countries , or not?
Initially in your interview u stated u can’t compare Ghana to US or the western world. But in the end u state that Ghana is far better than America if things are going well for the individual. People are looking for opportunity because they believe there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. I have lived here for more than fifty years. I can’t complain. My journey starts from coming here as a student, graduated from college with an engineering degree. Worked for more than thirty years in different fields of engineering & information technology. I am retired now. Btw: I was one a resident of Worcester, MA but now in Texas.
My brother your story is really sad but we thank God things are better. But I think you slums have also thanked your ex-wife since you said when you met her things started to turn around.. In this abrokyire its not easy. We have to be grateful to anyone who even gave us a glass of water..it's not easy.
He is talking about the grace of God, and it is true. But the saying,' you can't compare Ghana to Abrokyire is a lie. If you are serious in Ghana, you can make it big time with the grace of God I'm telling you. You will also have ur freedom in Ghana as well.
Say that again. This is why everyone wants to be a pastor. If you have university graduates sitting at the feet of these so-called pastors, how do you expect the country to move forward?
Stop exposing yourself & shallow mind. What has being learned has to do with akwankyer3? King Solomon was a Top magician. Many kings have okomfuo they consult before battles for example. In history , some also have their prophets. Have you heard of the word metaphysical? What till you personally experience things from that plane wai. What do you learn from University attendance, seriously? How to write long essays nkoaaa?
@@janusenator another airhead. Supporting his claim with a Bible passage. Succeeding in life has got nothing to do with Akwankyer3. All depends on proper planning and preparation. You're calling me shallow lol, you're the one who's shallow enough to believe you need a "man of God" to pray for you to achieve whatever it is you want to achieve. That is stupidity my friend 😂 😂 reason why we have pastors cashing out big time back home in Ghana. Cause they prey on gullible creatures like you.
You are educated living in America you still believe in miracles very pathetic!!. That America you prayed for visa wasn’t built on prayers rather visionary men. Don’t live your life on lies of Stone Age. Raise your kids to be scientifically inclined and not Adam and Ewe mentality. Think about this, everyone gets visa either Buddhist, Jew, atheist, Hindu, Muslim what is special about your personal experience that makes you attribute it to some form of deity.
A Ghanaian like u talking like that. May be you should be a little bit open-minded. Whatever it is,no one escapes this planet alive. How we came to be and how leave here is a mystery. You can have a belief system or not. To each his own. The whites that you love to compare with, don't some believe in zodiac signs and other things?Don't most Chinese believe in deities?
When u don't have green card or a naturalized citizen LIFE WILL BE HARD FOR U ABROAD If u don't have the support of knowledgeable ppl and associate yourself with the soup and fufu Ghanafuo LIFE WILL BE HARD FOR U.
39:35 that means God is partial .. he favours the "abrofo than "abibifo" Africans pray to get visa, the abrofo just go to the embassy and get it with ease. .. still don't get it
God blesses us depending on your situation. Someone from America getting a visa to Ghana is not very phenomenal. But someone from Ghana getting a visa to US is phenomenal because it is an opportunity that can possibly change the well-being and welfare of yourself and those who will come after you. What you will have and see to be normal could be seen as a blessing to another. It depends on your situation. Someone having 9 kids and giving birth to a 10th child wouldn't be a big deal to him or her. Someone that have tried for years to have a child and gets a child would see that as a big blessing.
Some of you talk too much, what do you mean manhattan is better than uk (London has retained its crown as the top global financial centre as New York City slips to second position, new figures published by the City of London Corporation reveal.24 Jan 2024) google, In this world don’t just talk, USA is this uk people who went and built the place, Canada, British and French , please they’re Ghanaians taking £8K or more rail engineers, tube / underground train drivers , self employed business men/women , Nana doing his tyre business in Rotherham with fuel stations and guest house in Kumasi , UK is small don’t compare the vast land of USA to UK it’s strict here
Massa you can rant and rant, but the US will always be better for immigrants than the UK. Salary-wise, the UK is not on the level of the US. The US hardly deport illegals unless you commit a crime, unlike your darling UK where immigration raids are rampant every where. The ONLY thing the UK might boast over the US is your universal healthcare for all. That one I give it to the UK, but even that kraa some jobs/companies in the US pay health insurance premiums for workers. Its not a competition but the US will always be the best place to live and make more money as an immigrant than the UK.
People have suffered in abroad ooo. It makes u order ur steps in life paaaa. U will suffer saaa but u will make it and this becomes a past u will laugh over it
Am so happy for this guy God is good Dj why do u always doubth spiritual things just learn to respect people spiritual beliefs if u don't even believe that
If presenting a bank statement is enough, why then do u believe OPambours Oil helped you. What helped you at that time was, you were able to prove that you have traveled before, and then you will return on your second chance
