maaan.. I love this style of video.. no offense to Christian, love his delivery, but this kind of story telling, editing, and humour really got me. hope to see more of this in the future!
I think this is one of the best vids you've pushed out in some time - loved the aesthetic, comedy timing and authenticity. Imagine that it'll be difficult to replicate as it will require you being sufficiently surprised to pull the trigger on a purchase... so I'll wait for the next one in maybe a year or two...
Every watch RU-vid channel is sitting behind a desk in front of a camera pontificating about watches. This type of video and commentary and outtakes to me is what makes your videos so much better. Michael's style and humor is what keeps me coming back to these videos. I love that he included the women questioning what he was doing in the video.
This guy is great!!! I almost forgot Michael was talking about watches!?! My greatest concern concerning this pro NOMOS piece (there I said it NOMOS) was that a real tiger would jump out of the woods and eat Michael with only the the Nomos remains remaining.
I stumbled on this video while researching the Nomos for my next purchase, I really enjoyed mini Jeremy Renner doing a video on his own especially when he paid out on mini Justin Timberlake, very refreshing.
I just looked at Nomos website, and there i a 10 month wait time to buy a Nomos Club 701... most Nomos watches now has i 6-10 month wait time... Even a brown strap is 4 month, a black one is 5 days, cracy times we live in 2022
Great video, Michael. I can see that you have a gread deal of effort into it. Love the watches from Nomos. "Did you know I have a lot of money" made me laugh.
Michael thanks for making this! I love my Nomos watches and they are my favorite watch brand. They don't take things as seriously as other brands do (I mean they are serious watchmakers) but their designs are playful. They have excellent customer service and there really isn't a better value brand out there! In-house calibers for the price of a 3rd party movement in another brand!
I went to buy a Nomos for my son to celebrate his graduation but the case back and the lugs felt cheap so I decided to have him pick the watch he liked better with out me telling him how I felt. He ended up picking the Longines Record white dial. Nomos look so awesome in pictures and videos but once you have them on your hand they feel cheap. Another thing I don't like is that they all look the same.
Luis, Nomos is a real watch makers in Germany, to compare to Longines, Nomos has better finish and in house mouvement. I like Longines and I have one, but Nomos is an upper class
I've heard 👂 on Federico talks watches Nomos watches have fragile movements. So when I heard this I hit the breaks on Nomos and also bought a Longines Legend diver no date lol. If I would go with a German watchmaker it be Hanhart or Sinn
@@olivierorban787 I respect your opinion but my opinion is that in house movements are not always a good thing history on the other hand goes a long way. Longines has a lot of accomplishments and my Son's is running great loosing only 1 second per day. Its Chronometer certified just beautiful all the way around.
I had a Tangente about 6 years ago, bought it from a local dealer and paid a whopping $550. Unfortunately I traded it back to that same shop about 2 years later for the same amount! I still regret it! Been looking at a Ludwig preowned, I too love the brand! The one you bought looks awesome.
Actually the club is the one of the few lines that Nomos carries where the manual wind and automatic versions have virtually the same thickness (around 8.5mm). I think this is a mix of the club being a bit more "conventional" and sporty than Nomos' signature watches. The original "trinity" of Bauhaus style watches (Tangente, Ludwig and Orion) are all significantly thinner if you buy them with the manual wind movements rather than as an auto.
They do a lot of things right . I have the tangente ahoi and it’s very well made . However the fact that it’s all dial and the protruding lugs it looks huge on wrist so don’t wear it . I just wish Nomos had an option without the really long lugs . Although the club dosent look nearly as awkward as the tangente
Have a few Nomo's, including the Alantique, and similar club but to fight breast cancer with a pink hands on the sub dail. Have about 5 or them. Never felt they had a cheap feeling as some said, but agree with the person below on the lugs, but one can bitch about things on any watch. They're a fun watch made to high standards. Oh wish they upped the strap game a bit, changed them on two of my Nomo's, look better, one with matching Vario strap. At least they're easy to swap out and not lodged in that I take it to a trusted jeweler cough Omega. I like my Metro the best.
Excellent vid!! I’m loving the German watches at the moment, am yet to not buy Swiss but will at some point and am thinking GO panomatic lunar or reserve, the movement quality is simply unrivalled at this price point!!
They do have some amazing watches, i wish though that they offered an oyster style bracelet as an option for the smaller size club and not just the new 42mm.
Like many others, I had no idea this wasn’t an Iron Snail video. Congrats on the new watch. I love the look of it, I just wish the lugs were a little shorter. The gap there is a bit unappealing to me. But great looking watch other than that.
the club is really nice with that thicker bezel.. much more balanced, makes the dial look smaller. AP.. are you listening? just saying, if you want to fix the Code 11.59...
Great video and great watch and great brand. somehow the feel of Nomos has more authenticity than brands hundreds of years older. shout out also to ID design guy for his amazing video on the brand.
