My son and I opened 60 total ETBs (I'll go pretty hard on a couple select sets per year) and couldn't find the Mewtwo. I decided we were done chasing it (pulled everything else except Hoopa and Leafeon), but my Dad grabbed two ETBs from his hometown Walmart even though I didn't ask him to. And what do you know - first pack - Vstar - Psychic - Mewtwo! He had me get my Dad on the phone immediately to tell "Papaw" all about it in excitement. It won't get a 10, but like you said in the video, we'll be able to admire it over time and remember the moment we found it : )
I full agree with you about textured cards! It just makes the holo pattern on them look SO much better. Like Japanese vintage YuGiOh Ultimate Rares look SOO GOOD.
Congrats on the Charizard. My first ETB, I pulled the Mewtwo Vstar. Second ETB was the Radiant Charizard. I am done with CZ until the mini tins come out. Best bang for buck.
Meanwhile my dumbass thought I could get multiple chilling reign and brilliant stars etbs on Amazon for a cheap price....but then realised I read the name wrong and the number in front of the set was the set number and not how many boxes I was getting 😂😭
i feel bad man. maybe i have all of the radiant zards. I have 4 of them. 2 were in the same etb and the regi eleki and regidraco box i got each had one. :(((
When I saw that alt art for the Manaphy, I had to craft it after failing to pull it. Something about special arts sitting on your bench in a game, even if just sitting there is their only job, makes me happy. And I'd comment on that duraludon, but recently I've spent more time just sending it to the discard for Regidrago to copy its attack than actually using Duraludon itself.
Yea i got stupid lucky getting my mewtwo vstar in my first etb kinda backlashed tho cuz its centering is terrible then suicune from a regieleki box i got from best buy also bad centering. AND my lucario promo had a corner ding. 🥲
