I finally get to reload Terminal Ascent bullets! 

Someone needs to take up the mantle and continue his work. He’s been inactive for a while and there’s still plenty of bullets to test. It’s a shame someone with more resources hasn’t taken up his methodology. Imagine how much excellent data someone like Kentucky Ballistics could generate if he wasn’t so busy doing the same stupid clickbait video over and over.

I wouldn't mind trying those as well but in my 24" Bartlein tube I'm at 3300fps with 139 Barnes LRX and Superformance powder with ES of 8. Biggest group 5/8" - 280AI

@@derekmcmurry what twist does your barrel have my barrel is 1 in 8 I put a Shilens on it

@@scottscheuerman8714 It's a 9 twist. I'm backing out of the fast twist craze in favor of that proven fact that the slowest twist that will stabilize your bullet is the most accurate. I've found it to be true and when it comes to mono bullets, they are long per weight anyway. So I keep the 280 Rem and 280AI at 9 or even 9.5 twist since I don't plan to shoot bullets heavier than 168s in these. I have 8 twist in my 7PRCs and could have easily gone 8.5. Plus, you sacrifice velocity with faster twists. I went with an 8 twist in one of my 300WSMs which is very accurate but since the 210 Berger is the heaviest I'll shoot I should have gone 11 twist. Now I have about 6 barrels on hand in 8 and 9 twist 30 cal and really should have ordered no faster than a 10 twist. I'm about to order a couple 7mm barrels for 708 and plan to go with 10 twist since I won't shoot heavier than 150 grain bullets in them

But there are plenty Bullets just as fine from other makers. Federal does not make the Bullets, they buy them from Speer, Hornady, Sierra Etc. Maybe T-Accent wont shoot well from your rifle. Don't get stuck with a brand or model. For performace comparisson check out Frontline Rejects. Like them as much as Buddy H Ballistics

@WillyK51 Frontline rejects is a great channel. I have no problem finding reloading components. I've used the factory TE and the bullet performs just how I want. This year I'm using hornady cx reloads for hunting. Want to try the tipped fusion but again not to be found. It comes down to personal preference and what the rifle likes. The factory te is ridiculous c @ st here thus reload

@@WillyK51 Well that i false...Federal makes the Terminal Ascent, Trophy Bonded, Power Shok bullets, and some others along with buying other bullet makers premium bullets as they have for decades. But to say Federal does not make bullets is false.

I got lucky. Found 6 boxes of 50 count 270 136 grainers. Bought all of them in addition to 3 boxes of trophy bonded federal 130 grain and 140 grain.
