I Finally Managed To Engrave Slate Perfectly 

Perfect lesson at the exact moment I needed it to create a memorial on slate. I've used it for background removal but not laser so I was "home" and comfy. Thanks for being there! It's a great program.

i have been using the offline version for 3 months for my co2 60w laser machine and i am very satisfied with it. and if I was given a license to use it for a while, I would be happy, and even though it's not free, I would like to use it. Thanks developer.

Well, I have been using ImagR (off-line) for many months now and I have to say it has helped me so much, but this video on slate is the best yet, I have always had problems trying to get a good result, but using the method in this video is amazing, I still need to tweak the setting a bit but is gets me so much closer to get that great final result. Thanks guys and keep up the good work ;)

once you use ImagR, and import the graphic into Lightburn what selection do you pick for the Image Mode?

Did you say you use black matte paint on the slate prior to engraving? I was using matte clear wonder if the black matte paint would be better.

Is this the same way to do it with a fiber laser? When I use imagr like you it doesn't give me a white background on my image like yours. It makes it black. Any reason why?

What does the pass through setting do different that it must be enabled?

When I use ImagR to set my dpi and engrave it engraves incredibly slow, so I just use ImagR to crop and select material.. then set my dpi in lightburn and it engraves much quicker with same quality dpi

Nice video but several of the options you mentioned in your video were not available to me. Is this because I am trying a free version? Also when I download I didn't have the option you mentioned. I only had bmp, jpg, or png - which is best for Co2 lasers?

hi, does alot change on your free online software? as i dont have half the options you show in this, i cant produce a DPI test from an image in imag-r, as when i go to download it is not an option, also i only have old, norton, co2 and greyscale for materials unlike all the options you have???

Hi there. Please can you help me. When I use ImageR so that I can change a photo to engrave the image on wood. It only gives me 3 saving options. Bmp. Png. Jpg. What am I doing wrong or where to from here. Thanks in advance

It's easier to only use imag-r to resize the picture, and use lightburn to dither.
