I Finally Played It! So you don’t have to… | Croydon: The London Transport Game 

if you want any tips/tricks to grind in croydon, here are some i highly suggest for new players/people starting off. tip 1: there are rush hours and peak times in this game, use them to your advantage (there are 2 peak times, morning & afternoon. morning peak time is from 7am - 9:30am and afternoon peak time is from 3:30pm - 6:30pm in bst/gmt). be aware that the rush hour/peak time is very realistic, basically meaning that if you do a route going towards the town centre/busy areas during the morning peak times & rush hours, there will be a significant surge of passengers and therefore more points. the same also implies for afternoon peak times & rush hours but the other way around, so routes going towards rural areas of the croydon map from the town centre area/busy areas will get you more points. even if you do a few routes after the peak time, there will still be a slight amount of increased passengers. tip 2: this is totally optional and you dont have to do it but.... its better to depart the bus stop at the same time you are supposed to be there. (so when you get to a bus stop, depart the bus stop when the timer goes from 0s to due) it gives more points at the end of a route.
