What Dan doesn't realize is that, with the Glitch that occured at 15:55, it was a very rare failsafe when a door fails to load the next room, or when two rooms overlap, and he got it on his 4th attempt ever. Nice.

I can't believe dan completed it from trial and error, I had watched loads of tutorials and had help from my friends, I've only done it alone throughout the whole thing once, Dan played it the way it should be played, quality content.

Fun fact: Once you pass door 5, the chances of Ambush replacing Rush slowly increase, so that's why around doors 70-100, it has very high likeliness to spawn. That's also a reason why they are alike.

I was late for the trend a whole year later and only until now I learned how amazing Doors truly was

Note: the doors you walk through do eventually close, if you are in a room when both doors close, glitch teleports you to the current door you are supposed to be on.

You should play this again, it got an update and it is SO much better than before it! The animations are redone by actual animators, there are new items, new rooms, all the gud stuff.

getting glitch on door 30 on singleplayer means you've encountered game lag. glitch on singleplayer apears when a door/room cannot load, meaning a glitch in the systems code has glitched. Dying from glitch will have a death screen saying, "I cannot find out what you died from". Glitch apearing on single player is a very rare occurance, seeing as you had a error in the systems loading code!

The blue door was just thanks to Guiding Light, a friendly entity named by the community that can help you in dark rooms if you get stuck. It's also the one guiding you through Seek's chase.

Tips for new players :) If the lights flicker, rush is coming, get in a closet! Don’t stay in the closet for too long, Hide will push you out and steal your health. If you hear a ‘psst’ look for Screech and stare at him. In some of the drawers, there are lighters, plasters and vitamins. Ambush is the same as rush, though, he comes back a few times. He only appears near the 90’s doors. Sometimes the eyes (harmless ones) will make the lights flicker, they don’t do harm though. The big eyes glow blue around them, don’t look at them. There’s a code either ‘10MILLION’ or ‘1MILLION’, it will give you some free revives! Hope this helps

This is why I love Dan, ever since I was little. He has this untapped genius in these types of games that typically take even casual roblox players days to complete. He has really good intuition in these games. The content just keeps getting better.

Have these quick words so you can check whether interacting with an entity has changed] Rush is mechanically the same as before before. (You can still hide from him by staying out of sight, or hiding in another corridor. (This has become a badge) -Make sure to get out of any dark rooms he creates. Will elaborate on later. Ambush is mechanically the same as before, however, his sound for appearance is louder. Screech is mechanically the same as before. (Unsure of whether multiple can spawn.) Eyes is mechanically the same as before. Hide is mechanically the same as before. Glitch has been replaced with void for falling behind. Room generation failures will still be dealt with by glitch. (With no damage cost.) Figure is mechanically the same as before. The safe spot near the exit door is now *no longer reliable* . For better results, hide between the pillar and the pot. *Unsure* whether Jack can spawn while rush or ambush is active. Timmothy is mechanically the same as before. (Unsure whether the spider can kill players) [TIPS ARE NO LONGER CONSISTENT. WAIT FOR UPDATED TIPS.] You dont actually need to turn around for halt. Just walk backwards. Keep in mind that you move slower while going backwards though. [DO NOT DO THIS ANYMORE. HE IS FASTER THAN YOUR BACKPEDALING WALKING SPEED] Screech can attack more than once, simultaneously. Whenever you dodge his attack, be prepared for another one to show up. -Screech can appear above or below you, so make sure to look up or down when you hear him. Glitch is (for the most part) unavoidable. It will spawn whenever room generation screws itself up, or if you are left behind by your teamates. (The threshold of getting teleported is 5 rooms.) Rush can be avoided without closets. Some examples of these are vents, alternate rooms, basements, ect. -For the more tecnical side, rush will bee-line to the next door. (He will move in a straight line from door A to door B.) So if you stay out of sight, you will make it. -The same applies for ambush, however his hitbox is bigger and he kills on sight. If you plan to hide without a closet, look away from any entrances, large hallways, or other sightlines to the room you're in. -In a nutshell, Rush or Ambush wont kill you if you are out of their way. The fire in seek's final hallway wont insta-kill you. If you dont know where to go, you can run through the fire. Keep in mind it will take a BIG chunk of your health (roughly 70%) Eyes can be avoided by simply looking down. Wider monitors will enable you to see Eyes without getting damaged. -Eyes will deal 10% of your health per-tick. -Eyes will warn players of their presence with a purple glow and voices. There's an entity that has a 1/20 chance (or 5%) of appearing in a closet. He can spawn even if Rush or Ambush are present. -The entity also has a 1/2000 chance of appearing behind a door. Whenever he appears behind a door, the entity will tint the room red for a couple seconds and will proceed to make it dark. This is what's known as a "Blood Room" The blue light is an entity itself. It's called "Guiding Light". As it's name suggest, it's purpose is to guide players lost in the dark, or in seek's chase. -Guiding Light will spawn in a dark room roughly 20 seconds to 1 minute after it opens. You can also wait out this time outside the dark room. -Guiding Light will make the door glow, aswell as the key if the door has a lock on it. -Guiding Light will also block screech from spawning. Though only temporarily. Living in closets or under beds is a bad idea. There's an entity that will harm you for roughly half your health if you stay in a closet for too long. It will also kick you out of the closet. -If kicked out of the closet, you will not be able to hide for 10 seconds. -The time before the entity attacks gets shorter the farther you are through the doors. Timothy is unnavoidable and has a 1/200 chance of spawning when opening a drawer. He's also really annoying. -Timothy will deal 5% of your health. Which is almost negligable. You can heal yourself using bandages that can be found in drawers. Theres a spot in the library next to the door where Figure wont be able to get you. Looking at the door with the lock on front, its on the *right* side next to the plant. -Keep in mind there's a mechanic that can kill you while standing in that spot. If no player has done the "Heartbeat minigame" for a while, Figure will bee-line to a random player, regardless of the noise they are making. -Whenever the library door is unlocked, Figure will bee-line to any other players still in the library regardless of the noise they are making. He will also become insanely fast. -This also happens in Room 100 after the electric box minigame. There are 2 extra entities not present in the video, but those dont affect gameplay.

Poor Asher. Whenever he wants to go to a library, Dan will have terrible flashbacks and refuse to take him 😢

glitch either appears if: 1. the room ahead doesnt load in, so he prevents you from falling out the map. 2. you're 3-5 (idk) doors behind the other players in the game.

I've played this and is surprisingly well made and has a lot of doors in it.

Glitch usually appears in multiplayer when you're far behind your teammates. He can also appear when a room doesn't load so it teleports you. If it appears because you are far behind you will also take damage.

15:50 that is actually really rare. glitch usually spawns in multiplayer if someone gets too far away from the group but he can also spawn in solo if the room doesnt load properly. just so happened that it didnt load properly right at tht end of the seek chase. also if glitch catches you at the end of the seek chase it removes all audio for the rest of the run, hence why you had no audio for the rest of the run. p.s. glitch doesnt kill you, he just teleports you to a room thats actually loaded p.p.s glitch and halt are 2 different entities

Fun little fact for Dan, you don’t actually need to hide to escape Figure in Door 50, boi only has to be silent, crouch all the time, and try to stay out of the way of Figure. For Door 100 it’s even simpler, when the cutscene ends immediately run up the stairs, grab the key and unlock the breaker room while Figure is occupied (I usually crouch when I hear him coming to check the second closet) Another fact, you don’t have to turn around during the Halt Chase, when the screen appears just walk backwards until the screen appears again which is when you go forward again

I know Dan didn’t know what to do, but props to him for surviving that long while running during figure. I would never have the guts to do that.

Glitch is the creature that appears when your map hasn't rendered properly, or you've been left behind by people in your party.( 15:50 ) What you've experienced here is seek having rendering issues, causing the map to not load properly. When you tried to enter the door, it simply did not recognize that you were trying to go through the door, had the rooms overlap, or the rooms after that door were not loaded. :)

15:50 is actually really rare. Glitch usually arrives only in multiplayer servers. It only arrives when you are apart from your group, but it is possible for it to naturally spawn due to an error with room generation. Also, that “turn around” thing is not the glitch. They are two different things. The turn around thing is called Halt, and that thing you experienced at the end of the the seek chase was the Glitch, which was the thing I was talking about up there.

Dan has to be one of the best gamer I have ever seen. He literally played this game how everyone should play it, without watching any tips and trick videos from RU-vid and learning from the tips that you are given when you die from an entity.

15:45 what happened here was an extremely rare thing where when a door gets glitched that happens, i believe it's a 1/1200 chance to happen.

Dan has had some incredible spawn luck; encountering Timothy twice in the same run as well as encountering Glitch IMMEDIATELY after Seek's chase sequence

So basically what happened with the glitch you found in the Seek chase is that you reached the final door, but it didn’t work properly and didn’t open. The devs of the game programmed the entity Glitch to attack you and teleport you to the next area just in case if a door were to not work properly, though if it is just lag then that doesn’t typically happen. However, never have I ever seen Glitch appear IN the Seek chase and not only get you the badge for encountering him, move you out of the seek chase, not give you Seek’s badge AND remove your sound! That is by far the craziest glitch I’ve seen in this game lol

I am here with info! In the seek chase, when you encountered the glitch, that wasn't supposed to happen, it's a bug that disables the audio for the rest of the run. You encounter the glitch when the next room doesn't load properly, or you are to far from the other players. So to my conclusion, this bug occurs on solo when the room after the seek chase doesn't load properly, but this hasn't happened only once. I once saw a video and they did the exact same thing. It also makes for one hell of an oc! I call him warped seek.

The fact that he almost got through seek, was amazing I can't even do it while playing 30+ times!

Dan got some extremely rare runs, he encountered both The Eyes twice, and Timothy twice in the same run. He also encountered The Glitch right when he beat Seek. He also found Halt, which, in my 3 years of off and on playing, I have never encountered.

24:19 here you have encountered Ambush, who is only supposed to appear after room 50, before 50 I think his chance of appearing is either in the decimals or single digits of what percentage his chance of appearing is. But for some reason idk why on room 24 specifically but he has I think around about a 30% chance of appearing.

15:50 Some people might be wondering why glitch appeared and dealt no damage while he was in singleplayer. Well actually, when Dan got stuck on the door at 13:24 , if it took long enough glitch would appear and push you forwards. Its a way to make the game more fair and not die because of bad ping. This has happened to other people aswell and fortunately caught it on camera. It wasn't insane luck. Its was just fairness.
