As a Jean main theres one thing I would recommend holding Jean's Elemental skill (E) and pointing it up to the air so after she releases her E then the enemies take fall damage thats the quicker way but for damage use her charged attack and then use her e to hold enemies in the air
My favorite part about jean is even when you don't build her for healing she still heals like an absolute goddess since it scales off her Atk so you just build her for damage and it indirectly also makes her healing better
Jean can manipulate fall damage the best. If you launch them into the air with your charge and pull them down with your E you will deal 20% ish of their health. If you let go of the E and launch them up it will deal another 20%. It’s really handy for tanky enemies in Abyss.
Yes! Finally someone understands. I always main her in viredescant domains, and whenever the enemy gets launched in the air with her charged attack, the fall damage is around 20000!
How are you able to flip everything? I leveled my C1 Jean to level 90 in hopes of trying that, but I can't flip anything more than small enemies. It seems like anything big enough to be worth flipping is immune, what am I doing wrong? Like for instance i've seen people flip the Blizzard artifact dungeon boss with her, but i've tried a million times and it never works
i got jean a couple of days ago. I was really happy when i got her. She does about 3k charged dmg (which is my highest) with lvl 3 talents. Pretty impressive for me ngl
fun fact: jeans burst swirls bennys burst. i use them together just for that in abyss a lot, usually against the abyss lector to get his shield down rly fast. i take kazuha and childe with me for it too
@@NhanNguyen-jd8ld I wouldn't say bennet is like a healer, more of a buffer and support. He can't even fully heal you, his main thing is the atk buff from his ult. So using Bennet and some other healer especially in a way op mentioned is actually really good. Btw you can use two healers at the same time, just don't build them both for healer build. Like you can build Diona with Maiden Healer build and Jean with Viridescent +a lot of elemental mastery and it can work really well. So the role doesn't matter as much, but the build

A really cool trick with jean is being able to do fall damage Fall Damage takes off a percentage of max HP so that will deal massive damage against the Fatui in Abyss
Jean is way to slept on. My first and favourite waifu in the game, and she covers so many things. Viri shredder, healer, main dps, etc. She's essentially Anemo Bennett minus the insane atk buff, which you can wing using full Noblesse.
Jean was a perfect character back on release before all the new characters were added. She can do literally everything. “A Jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”
2:22 Actually, more because you NEED anemo character in your party to even be able to farm them. I've lost count of how many times I just haven't picked them up even though walked directly over them simply because I didn't want to wait until party editor loads to swap a character only to swapt it away a few seconds later. And it doesn't even makes sense since WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIGHT COLLECTING DANDELION SEEDS BY BLOWING THEM AWAY?!! If I have to pick one most asinine thing in the Genshin Impact which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever then this will be a strong contender for the first place. And yes, Jean is more of a support character. She doesn't have much in her kit to deal lots of damage continuously, but she have a very good kit to pop on the field, use her Skill and Burst, deal lots of damage and heal your entire team with that and get out. And she's amazing to focus damage from Klee or CCins some enemies. Her burst also cleans any cleanable status since applies anemo on every heal tick for a moment. And swirl it around. So, if you use Benny's burst and her own this will create a field of pyro swirls which annihilate abyss lectors.
Yeah I love Jean, I really do, but getting Ayaka only showed me how quickly Jean has dropped off in the current DPS meta. If only she ascended on something else.
Anemo sub-dps Jean is an amazing asset just because as she gets stronger, her heal gets bigger. I recommend putting Festering Desire on her and focusing on her skill, because with VV shred + the insane multiplier she has on it, it's ridiculous how much damage she can do just popping in and out of the field.
Same, first 5 star and has been with me the past year ever since. Its only recently that i've been substituting her and its only because im building the new characters ive got. Once im done with them i'll find my way back to Jean
Jean was my first 5-star. She may not be the best, but she will always be the first in my heart. She also really helped me with the corrosion effect in abyss.
Jean the Yeetmaster is super useful for CC and also she heals like a beast. I run her with Aquila Favonia and Viridescent Venerer. Super handy in the new Abyss. I actually really like her new outfit. Her C2 has been the most useful. She is pretty underrated.
Love the videos dude. I appreciate never ragging on them and just taking them at face value. My jean build is similar to your first one. I was running energy recharge rate since mine is focused on hp and healing.
She's my 1st 5* and never leave my team since then. I'm clear any content in Genshin, thanks to her, and she is the one and only 3x crowned unit in my account
yeah i mean, some of the effects it has are great, like extra attack speed, cooldown reduction from constellations and the particles it generates. cryo infusing and neutering your damage isnt that fun tho.
Yay you raised her, also xinyen is a very cool character to raise so that’s a recommendation I can tell u the best wepons and artifact sets for her if upyou do raise her
Good idea raising Jean, the new enemies will require at least one healer in the party, good idea to have one like Jean that can use viridescent set, and heal at the same time.
Pro jean tip you can’t throw them into the air for extra fall dmg and the little charged uppercut move can keep enemies postponed in the air so if two groups of enemies are attacking you then you can postpone on group then gather and throw the others, also in her elemental burst, if you have a certain element applied to your you will emit small waves of the element your afflicted with around you for as long as your afflicted by the element. Have fun playing jean!!! (it’s kinda hard not to have fun play her) she can heal, damage deal, and most importantly yeet your enemies off of cliffs. In my opinion she’s a solid pick and I hope you use her more. Have a great experience!
Jeeeean! I use her as a sub dps. Give her a 2 piece viredescent and a 2 piece glad/shimenawa and she shines. Also, to spam her ult the inazuma craftable weapon is great. Got it to r4 and its peeerfect

Jean really carried me through the mid game. I was sad to lose 50 50 on zhongli's rerun but never regret raising her, especially with the current floor 11. Better healer than kokomi in my honest opinion 😆
for jean a good build for her would be 2 piece glad/shimenawas and 2 piece maidens. and for weapon, since she scales off of attack you want a high base attack like The skyward blade which will also give her nice energy recharge or if you can aquila favonia which can increase her attack by 20%. you want attack on both the sands and goblet with healing bonus on her circlet. Jean was one of my first 5 stars and one of my fav characters
adding on to the tips is since her burst deals damage when enemies enter or leave it, with enemies you can suck in with her e you can wave them over the edge of her burst to make the most of it. it's something i haven't personally tried bc i'm primarily a mobile player but i saw it in tsoul's jean guide. also in that guide, her animation cancel is iirc 3 normal attacks into charged edit: challenge idea! if you haven't got it yet, there's now an achievement for beating azhdaha without ever gaining a shield. bonus hardness points the fewer characters you do it with
You can do a charge attack then hold E and flick your crosshair to the ground so they take fall dmg then look up and shoot them in the air so they take fall dmg again. It's cool and fun to do imo.
As a dps/burst dps/healer and not being used as swirl elemental shred support, (not completely sure about this as I have not raised Jean myself) I’m pretty sure you could run a 2 piece viridescent and 2 piece shimenawa/gladiator to give her more attack for damage and healing
something fun about jean & klee is that if you hold the bombs next to an enemy (like hydro abyss mage in shield form) it’ll detonate while still holding E!! so it means it’s very easy to get that extra dmg quicker
