I Finally Watched *ZOMBIELAND* Last Night... 

You must rectify your crimes against humanity and watch some Bill Murray movies. Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, Groundhog Day and Kingpin are some good places to start.

I took my sons to see this when it came out. My youngest was around 8 and as soon as the Metallica intro came on he started screaming in a silent theater “mommy mommy they’re playing Metallica “ people started giggling. Proud mamma moment.

This and Shaun of the Dead are the 2 best zombie movies I think! They were both made to poke fun at the genre but ended up defining it instead!

Bill is a legend. Hollywood can't even get in touch w/him directly. He's a real, genuine dude, who happened to become a megastar. His uniquely sarcastic, witty & charming approach to his craft is a gift to film history. Bill Murray is always Bill Murray, in every movie...& we wouldn't have it any other way.

Train to Busan is the best zombie movie ever. Most ppl probably haven't seen it cause it's not in English, but don't let that hold u back. It's an incredible movie!! Also great reaction. Brightened up my day as per usual

The number 3 is for Dale Earnhardt Sr from Nascar. He was one of if not the most famous driver who died during the Daytona 500 race. He was also known as the Intimidator

"that'll do pig." Is from a famous Universal film called Babe. It's about a farm pig and his journey from the state fajr winning piglet, dodging being christmas dinner, and getting along with all the other farm animals. .. Surprisingly good movie. Has some emotional bits but overall feel good film. I recommend it.

He puts a 3 on his vehicles because the number 3 was Dale Earnhardt's number in NASCAR, of which he is obviously a fan.

I think a certain amount of luck is necessary, assuming you believe in luck. Being an intelligent, skilled hunter in the apocalypse is great, as long as you are also lucky enough to find any tools you might need for the type of hunting you've trained for, like a gun or bow, ammo, and you're lucky enough to not have any major medical conditions, like diabetes or any amount of paralysis.

Here's a rule they don't give in the movie, and it kind of goes against the "Double Tap" rule. Don't use ammo if you don't have to. If you can kill a few efficiently with a melee weapon then do that. The Double Tap is just a little more gory when you use melee weapons.

He said he lost his dog to make it hurt less cause just like Columbus said "Take away a mans son and you've truly given him nothing left to lose". I don't think any loving parent would ever be able to say their child died especially if it was in a horrific way like Zombies.

Bill Murray is iconic. He was one of the early cast members is Saturday Night Live in the 70s. Aside from the comedies mentioned by others, some dramatic roles from him that I enjoyed are “Lost in Translation” from Sofia Coppola, and “Broken Flowers”. He plays a summer camp counselor in “Meatballs” and a unlikely soldier in “Stripes”. Both iconic films. He stars in a lot of Wes Anderson films.

The guy killed in the bathroom, the gas station attendant, is Mike White, whom you might remember from School of Rock. He has quite a resume of writing/producing/directing credits.

Shaun of the dead next is a must, and naturally that should start the Cornetto Trilogy

Fun fact, the theme park that's featured in Zombieland was not in California like it is in the movie. It was filmed at a theme park called wild adventures in Valdosta Ga. I went to college at the time and some of my classmates were extras in the movie. Also, I lived near some bars at the time and me and a couple of my friends were relaxing outside when Woody Harrelson walked by. We didn't recognize him at the time but when I read about him bar hopping I realized who it was.

"That'll do pig" is from the film "Babe" about a Pig raised on a sheep farm. it's quite an old film but that line is probably the most notorious one of the film. It's another way of saying "that will do for now".

Can't believe you don't know Bill Murray, but you know Joseph Eisensplatten.

Around here in CA, they're usually by half-hour blocks and you get safety gear, choice of bat, etc. to hit things with, and pay extra for a whole car, otherwise the room is full of like, ceramic mugs and plates and other old electronics. Worth every cent for the sheer catharsis, I promise you. 😂

"Twinkies" are in fact called "Submarinos" here in Mexico, they're sold in packages of three and there are different flavors; the most common are vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and recently I saw a berry flavor too.

Bill Murray was most notorious for being in Ghost Busters 1 & 2 (the original) but he was also in many other films. He did a lot of voice acting work too...he was Garfield in the live action version of Garfield 1 & 2...although those were actually a terrible films compared to most of his other work. He also did voice work in The Jungle Book. He was in Lost in Translation, Charlie's Angels, Space Jam, Groundhog Day...to name a few.

ooft, if we're gonna get into infected vs zombies you should definitely react to 28 days and 28 weeks later if you haven't seen them before. 28 days later, imo, set the stage for "zombie" movies and to this day is still a 10/10 movie while 28 weeks later is different directors its still a great movie with lots of blood and gore >:)

I went in to this movie blind, thinking it was going to be a cheesy kids movie (like Halloweentown) and it has become my favorite dark humor horror movie!

“Why not use the gun” While there are a number of reasons why you use any object other than a gun during a zombie apocalypse, there are two main reasons. 1. To conserve ammo - especially for during the inevitable situation where you will have hundreds of zombies advancing on you at once. Ammo is difficult to come by when all the gun stores have been raided. 2. Noise. The noise of the gunshot will also inevitably draw more to the sound. Use blunt force objects when you can.

I watched Zombieland last night, and today I saw that there was a sequel- Zombieland Double Tap. I didn't expect much, but it was just as fun as the first. The whole cast returns, as well as some extras.

I completely understand your social anxiety, I hate being invited places, but then feel left out when I don’t go. But I pretty much feel sick to my stomach the whole time

My zombie apocalypse strategy is to hold out in a movie theater for the first couple of months. I worked in movie theaters for about 6 years and I know the general layout. Concession food is not healthy but any food is good food for the apocalypse. There’s usually one or two entrances to fortify and plenty of fire exits to escape.

I think it has one of the most unique spins on the zombie virus of any zombie content out there... Also it's got Brad Pitt! Also if you react to The Walking Dead, I am SO here for that! How have you never seen this? Your dedication to never watching newer (last ten to fiftten years) movies, is either commendable, or crazy! At some point, some movies you just should watch/see rather than waiting to do a reaction haha. This is one of those eventual cult classics.

FYI - the guys that wrote this also helped write the Deadpool movies you loved so much. Ryan Reynolds helped and ad-libbed a bunch in those too.

After watching the scene with the neighbor again, your so right that’s so disrespectful. I mean she probably didn’t know about turning into a zombie at that point, because it was “new” at that time, but not only did she get bit and go to his house, she fell asleep ON him. You not knowing who Bill Murray hurts have to admit, he is a comedy legend. You should definitely watch Caddyshack and Ghostbusters, and Groundhogs day. Twinkies is all he has to look forward too, he obviously loves them and it will make him remember the normal days.

Scrooged is an AMAZING holiday movie, and has the Bill Murray signature humor all over.

I'm not into zombies, though I love "Shaun of The Dead," it's a riot. FYI, there IS a movie called "Zombie Strippers." I got the DVD from Netflix for my husband about a decade ago (shocker, he's now my EX-husband). It's about as good as you'd expect, but it does have Robert Englund (Freddy Kruger) in it. And it was loads better than "Poultrygeist: Attack Of The Chicken Dead." Yep, that's a thing. It's a Troma film, and quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen, with some of the least attractive people...which makes it worth checking out, just once. Not on this channel, of course.

I recommend Train to Busan if you haven't seen it. It's a Korean movie, so you'll need subtitles, but it's by far my favorite zombie movie, and I will argue it's the best one in the genre.

If there was a zombie apocalypse, I would run to a self storage place. Most of them these days are walled in and they have a lot of units for supplies and storage.
