@@DevonsDesk I've already started a world with it! To add some balancing in my favor I put in Graves and Homes from Vanilla Tweaks (not using homes to cheese escape so much as avoid losing my house) and ULG backpacks (which I don't get much use out of yet as the limited health regen means very short excursions away from safety) and kept difficulty on Hard. VERY cool. Reminds me of old school Minecraft where any mob can kill you. I love the mob effects, the tougher progression system, and the actually useful wandering traders!

Yeah! When you download it just navigate to this file path. data>minecraft>loot_tables>entities>iron_golem.json (Then delete this iron golem file) Then reload the pack and you're good to go

Fair enough! It may or may not assuage your fears, but the iron nuggets from stone feature will actually provide more iron in the long term (with the ilmango stone blast chamber as a reference). It would just require a larger initial infrastructure investment while also being more customizable than a traditional iron farm

Ah I believe you're wrong there. Horse armor increases armor points from leather, iron, gold, to diamond, giving 3, 5, 7, and 11 armor points respectively minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Horse_Armor#Protection

Hi Galactico! It's fairly easy, but you'll need to do a bit of configuring. The datapack updates the naturalregeneration gamerule everytime it loads. So to stop that from happening go to this file path in the datapack: data>tsurvival>functions>loaded.mcfunction Open loaded.mcfunction with a text editor and delete the line that says "gamerule naturalRegeneration false" Save it and that'll prevent it from resetting in the future. Then to set it back to normal, in game, type this command: /gamerule naturalRegeneration true

This datapack is one whole gamemode. However, a lot of the main features I've split into separate datapacks as well. You can get those on my PlanetMinecraft profile in the description!

Hmm that issue is commonly found when using multiplayer plugins. Best way to play multiplayer True Survival (and other large datapacks) is with a vanilla server client or fabric server client. Things like spigot can break them unfortunately 😔if that’s not it or the issue persists, join the discord and I can help you more quickly 👍🏼

I couldn't say for sure unfortunately I do know that datapacks sometimes have issues with Spigot but I think it just depends on a case by case basis

That plugin uses it's own resource pack. I'm not sure if it would conflict or not since it also adds the exact same crafting method for chainmail armor; chains in the usual armor pattern

As I don't play bedrock, I can't say for certain, but I believe a relatively experienced bedrock command coder should have no issues!

You can install the Geyser Plugin and join the Java server with your Bedrock account.

Nope! The resource pack is completely optional! I’ve made it so the whole pack is designed to not need one

@@DevonsDesk Unrelated question: Do you happen to have/know of a way to set up a minecraft world to only generate chunks when ordered to in game and allow the owner to change the generation settings at midgame points like that. Using a file for such is okay and preferred, just so long as it doesn't have to be done before the world is created. Generating a range out is slightly acceptable and probably a good goal, but I want to be able to definitively (or in math terms, discretely) mark where one generation ends, another begins, and be able to walk to a literal edge of the generated world. I swear I've seen people do this regularly like to show the difference between 1.17 generation modes, but I don't know how to do it myself.

At the moment, they're just chest items with a loot table attached. So to get the loot, just the place the unique chest and the items will generate inside it!

@@magmarok8209 Sounds great! Fair warning, but larger servers might suffer some performance issues. I haven't had testing beyond more than 6 concurrent players at a time. I recommend less than 10 players when playing with True Survival

The newest version has a setting you can disable/enable in the guidebook players get when first joining

saplings should be unchanged! you can get them by breaking leaves (There was a bug in an older version of the datapack, so make sure you have the latest one)

Hey Stryzer! So if you make something inspired from True Survival, you're all good. But also True Survival has a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, so if you make direct use of its code or assets, you'll have to credit the pack and the creator.

should be pretty easy to customize! you can remove the restrictive torch recipe by deleting 1 file in the datapack. navigate to here: data>minecraft>recipes>torch.json. then delete "torch.json"'

Hi Stryzer. I'm sorry to hear that. I had nothing to do with it. Another PMC user might have reported it. But I do recommend changing the pack more. I had checked it out and there was nothing new added to the pack, it was all just taken from True Survival.

I’m sorry you feel that way. There are many new, alternate means of healing that reworks the system from a foundational level. If you want to think it’s bad without hearing anything else, that’s your call. I've also implemented a module system that allows you to use most any of the individual features if you don't like the game as a whole.
