Wonder if anybody noticed the dialogue between him and Forest is almost direct quotes from Neo talking to Agent Smith in The Matrix 2 before the courtyard battle.
Man, I just had to like and suscribe when you showed Forrest with Mr. Sbaitzo voice, anyways, I'm a game designer interested in A.I. augmented gameplay, as in game storytelling, quests, conversations, enemy A.I., keep doing these videos! I salute you, from Argentina!
Damn dude, you got me with that GoldenEye 007 sound track. Love your content! It's helping keep me sane right now as a lead developer for one of the few companies still open right now. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Indoors watching Jabrils > Going Outside 24/7
WHat the cut at the end ? ! Trouble with the upload. Great project by the way, the teamate fight will be extremely difficult to solve for an AI if you don't have communication parameters.
I thought you were going to run the game play through a screen recorder and then hack together something that would play the game :P Maybe that'll come later ;D Fantastic video 💯
"Theres no escaping reason, no denying purpose, because as we both know, without purpose, we would not exist. It is purpose that created us. Purpose that pulls us. That guides us. It is purpose that defines. Purpose that binds us. We are here because of you, Ben Hax. We're here to take from you what you tried to take from us. PORPOISE."
Awesome Video like always. I've an suggestion for your video shedule: You could split the videos to multiple parts. This would mean steadier content for us and more views and activity on your channel. Another benefit: the videos would be shorter and would have more depth on the developing and analyzing points in which I'm more interested in.
You do know that Nintendo AI, and most games AI, are dumb for two reasons : Performance and player's experience. While you're not telling which game, most Nintendo games audience are not your average "gamer". Usually they are aimed at teen and younger. Your pretense here is "I made an AI that will Dark Soul the shit out of kids." Grats.
I was legitimately excited about that fight. How funny is that!? When I get a chance, I'm digging into that code my friend! Excellent work. I learn a lot about explaining these concepts from you!
I think it would be interesting to add more maneuvers to the game, and potentially shuffle them in and out each round. There would then be an uneven balance in which move is the "best," and especially if you're adding multiple units on each side, that could also affect what is the correct choice out of the maneuvers.
Very cool. It seems like the next level would be to create a more dynamic rock paper scissors game in the form of a fighting game. What if they can walk, jump, attack, shield, and shoot on a 2d plane. Shield will beat attack, but if you spam shield the opponent can shoot from a distance. But jumping closer and going for an attack will beat that, but shielding the attack will beat that etc. This will be a very simple game that has possibilities of a lot of cool real time adaptations.
11:20 is that James Bond in the background lol also props showing the "actual work" the graphics were confusing to me before but makes sense more easy to consume than straight code
In Smash Bros for WiiU/3DS (I don't know about the last one) you could train your Amiibos to gain better AI and I found it worked well. My trained Ryu Amiibo was better than any other difficulty max character of the game.
I think if someone were to create a competition in which you could set personal stat and a load out on a gladiator, and code an algorithm that they could set up to fight against other people’s gladiators (or any type of warrior when you get advanced enough, then you could have people with guns that could utilize cover in some competitions) it could go a long way in innovating some learning processes and drawing interest to the machine learning field. I’m sure a lot of the competitors could use it on their resumè or sell their algorithms to tech companies, if they don’t want to use it themselves.
is it possible to train a couple of ai's on different aspects of something, then hook-em all up together like brain lobes to solve a big task together, while working in conjunction? maybe a frontal cortex AI chooses which one(s) to deploy given context? I dunno.
maybe that's how it already works in a sense. a bunch of little decisions and actions are learned within a context of needing them to solve a greater goal.
I imagine you agree that the OpenAI Five Arena was probably one of the most interesting events I've ever watched. Combining AI and games is really interesting.
the video just stops right in the sentence xD but ye would also be my cencern how they would perform if more are fighting maybe there is any team building or something like wolf hunting would be realy cool
wow, this is really cool. i have never been that good at programming, well i have barely even scratched the surface. i found this quite interesting to watch.
Be aware, than while this project is interesting and a nice though experiment. AI in video games are meant to be predictable, specially on strategy games. In FE, the AI knows to go first for the healers and low hp units, and that is something a player can abuse. That's why speedrunners use auto combat in fire emblem, as the AI is preductable, so you just perform the actions you need and the CPU will choose what you expect. In other words, yes your AI is better as an AI, but worse as a game element, as it takes the optimal choice with the push of a button.
Interesting results. I feel as though the “better than Nintendo” is mostly deceptive given that your comparing AI from a simple 3 move strategy game to a AAA title complex strategy game.
I just want to say, that the nintendo AI has to handle groups of 10 people on each side and there are far more possibilities, they cant just have their AI try and try again until it works
hey jabrils you should do a video covering the original unreal from 1998 it,s one the first fps games that attempted to make the enemy ai advanced and mostly suceeds on that task but i want to see you try to improve it. the game is on gog and steam for cheap and unreal already has modding tools included so it should be easy
Wow Wow Wow Ben Hax give' a show! kkk This is very cool, guy, congratulations. Put more bots fighting ones with another, like an armies fight, gonna be cool.
Maybe this was explained or I missed something but what is the point of space / movement in the game since it doesn’t seem like distance or movement affects the strategy at all?
