I FIXED the LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 sets

I have to admit I like these more realism upgrading.It’s a way of something anyone can do and you can actually hold them.This video was amazing too.The knowhere moc was fabulous and although, this may not happen I would love instructions for it.The minifigure upgrades are also pretty good and really fix this wave.

There was one problem with the Bowie set, the windshield for the cockpit should be clear not red, in the film it was clear

The extension of the Knowhere set turned out really good. I worked on the film and the Knowhere town square filled an entire soundstage, one of the craziest things I've ever seen in person.

Lego does repeated torsos because they don't have a lot to go on plot wise. They get pictures of locations and a vague idea of the villain and hero, and that's pretty much it. It's why we got what we got in 2019 for endgame. I'm not saying we don't deserve more unique figures but it's a problem with the whole system, something that is always gonna be hard to change

The first hair piece on lego star lord, actually is accurate to the film Since he was scruffy and his hair was messy

There needs to be a high evolutionary’s citadel. It has to have the hallway, hangar, the bridge, the girls cages, and the animal cells that rocket was in. Just think how awesome that set would have been.

The new star lord hair looks better

I personally think the first set is close to perfect as is. It's a very cheap way to get both Star-Lord and Groot who are both very popular characters. Also the reuse of that Torso and legs is great so people on a lower budget can get the main Guardians outfit from the movie. The only thing I'd change is Quill's hairpiece and maybe add a few more pieces without affecting the price

6:36 The high evolutionary fig looks great but i think you could've done a bit better by printing the face and the other details onto a purple head instead of what you've done here.. cuz it kinda looks awkward.

It's a shame we're not likely to get much more merch for Volume 3. Not sure if it'd be more in part to the subject matter, dwindling MCU sales since Endgame (plus all the "unsold merch" from Black Panther and Thor), or to spite James Gunn.

BTW, it's not LEGO's fault they didn't make a Villian for Vol.2 or Vol.3, as both movies scripts were withheld as most Marvel Movies MCU Scripts are, LEGO was not told who the main villian was at the point that they were given info on the movie. Even if they were, they likely would have still chosen to make a LEGO Minifig for Adam Warlock rather than a lesser heard from Villain like the High Evolutionary! Adam Warlocke is a much greater caharacter to have made a minifig for! By a long shot!

The repeated torsos and legs dont really bother me with these because they do spend most of the movie all in their Guardians Jumpsuits.

imo Lego should not be using the BVS Superman hair at all. I have literally never seen anybody with that hairstyle, and it just looks dumb. I don’t know what hair Adam should have, but it’s not that one. Also, I don’t think he should have a cape in that set, since, if I remember correctly, he doesn’t have one anymore by the time he’s actually on The Bowie.
