I flew on Sri Lanka's Domestic Airline Cinnamon Air

Cinnamon Air is Sri Lanka’s little domestic airline, operated and own by cinnamon, Cinnamon air offers flights across Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. Today I fly up to batticola with Cinnamon air on one if cinnamon Airs cessna 208 Grand caravan. Cinnamons have a fleet of Cessna 208 Grand Caravans that they use to operate flights and charters across Sri Lanka.
Do follow me on this Travel Vlog as I fly over to Batticoloa in the tamil east if Sri Lanka. These flights are often used by tourists but it as a shock to me that i would have a private plane for this cinnamon air flight over to batticaloa.

I do plan to visit and do the highlands, south and north of the country in a couple of trips, I very much see Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 as a second home after my home country of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 as my father is a Sri Lankan 🇱🇰

Very interesting! The entrance to, was it the Arrivals area ? ,was beautiful; it looked like a garden centre. :) The staff seemed very helpful and friendly. Nice little plane, too. Good flight...and see, you didn't need those pesky emergency instructions. LOL. We're hoping you'll have time for more $5 tours so we can see what Batticaloa is like. It was the entrance to the arrivals area that had all the nice flowers, the cinnamon air terminal also was very nice and garden like. I might be doing on or two things in and around the eastern half of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 😉 Thank you. You both have a good week alsoSandi & Greg. 😁

A beauty video. Hey mate I use to fly domestic flights in Sri Lanka. Most of our domestic airport and ATC operations are handled by our air force therefore its an SOP to have a fire truck on standby at all times when Aircrafts land or T/O. FYI👍

It’s a bit weird, it’s yes and no. Both cinnamon hotels and cinnamon air operate the same branding but are different companies both owned by Keells Holdings.

Cinnamon air has a pickup point closer to the VIP entrance. DOM went in straight to a Cinnamon air stall in the airport that's why he had to buy a ticket - This is not the norm.

what Edelweiss is the only European airline to fly to Sri Lanka from Europe? what about Turkish Airlines, Air France, British Airways, Finnair, KLM, and Lufthansa?

Air France 🇫🇷, BA 🇬🇧, KLM 🇳🇱, Finnair 🇫🇮 & Lufthansa 🇩🇪 all stopped serving Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 some years ago now, Turkish airlines 🇹🇷 do serve Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 but I didn’t mention them due to the whole debate some people have about if it’s European or not, which is a debate I like to stay well away from.
