I used to work for Del Taco, and the only safe thing on the menu is the burgers lmao. Meat sits in the hot boxes for many hours drying up or being unsafe, lettuce sits in moist bags for days, guac is made with TONS of lime and salt, the beans are made fresh but taste fucked, the "chili" is just red hot sauce mixed with ground beef, their meats that aren't pollo asado and carne asada are just boiled in bags. I don't eat there and I made the food

For real! Burger King is one of my faves and I much prefer it to McDonald's. What's more, every time these people go they stick to the Whopper with no alterations, or get the outdated chicken sandwich! Hell, when all the places were doing their own chicken sandwiches in response to Popeyes, the Ch'King was arguably the best one available, but influencers refused to even acknowledged it, continuing to compare the "Original". They'd even be quick to point out that McDonald's had a different chicken sandwich from the McChicken and everyone thought that was trash!

It's crazy just seeing the price hike from state to state. The chik fil a bacon chicken was like $7 here in (Houston) Texas and almost $13 there... And the Cheeseburger from Mcdonalds... aka when I'm poor and hungry it's my go-to and $1.61 here vs $2.91 there. And lastly, the quality of each fast food place depends truly on new location vs location that's been there a while vs a location up in the ghetto 😅

Sad y’all didn’t taste the actual budget king from BK… The rodeo burger. At least in my area, it’s 10 cents less than those chicken fries, and if you use the app to order you can get that burger plus fries for only the price of the burger with the daily free fries coupon. In my area that’s about $2 after tax, $2.50 if you make it a cheeseburger, so that’s an absolutely insane value for a full meal

Hating on Burger King is more of a Meme than anything. That said, in the States most fast food joints are franchised and their quality is solely reliant on the individual owners. As such it's best to go to corporate owned locations.
