That or metal casting, because i feel like the handle is underwhelming compared to the blade, which is spectacular Edit: correction, not just that, it'd also be a fun project and probably video
Jazza is unironically the reason why I didn't gave up on art & crafts even at the depth of depression. And this ? This gives me hopes in my dream of making cool epic resin + blacksmithing things. I love it here
i've loved this channel for years, but your content lately has improved so much (didnt know that was possible), maybe it's the vulnerability, the honesty, the effort and the passion showing even more. Love the direction you're taking, thank you for the great content and entertainment, and for keeping 6M people passionate for art
Okaaay, one video a week is valid, I can dig it and really appreciate the production value too. This is just so fun to watch! And the sword looks really cool!!! Excellent work Jazza!
I used to watch your channel when I was in middle school, I loved everything you made, I don't know why or when I stopped watching, but at the end of a boring ass work day, finding your channel again has been the most fun I've had on RU-vid in forever! Ily Jazza!!!
Im SO happy about the "level up" in production! Ive been watching you for about seven years now, and after the c0vid I was having that weird feeling, that with the usual amount of videos you can't quite get the most out of them. I think this change will be great for both you, your team and us, viewers. I wish all of you a nice day!
Now that looks bloody amazing!!!! The glowing pigment works incredibly well and that the inscription glows even brighter is just a cherry on top. Somewhere during the epic forging montage I thought "man, look at that. Look how far he's come. From a one man army in a tiny room trying to make ends meet with teaching people how to draw comics to *this*" Proud of you Jazza and for still not forgetting your community ❤
The fact that I'm working on a resin sword and just stumbled across this video is probably the most insane coincidence of my life. I severely regret not investing in acrylic rods (I'm already done the blade) but this video's definitely answered my predicaments on how to attach it to the hilt. Jazza, you're truly a genius, and an ongoing inspiration. Thank you for accidentally solving on of my most insane cosplay predicaments lol (and thank you for showing your trial and error while creating this)
I love the quality over quantity approach! (and certainly understand it with the enormous production that the studio has become, wow!) I absolutely love how this sword turned out! Also, it reminds me a bit of glass swords in skyrim.
This is probably one of my favorite videos you’ve ever made, besides the Bible creatures. This was awesome! Also, it was fun to see how much fun you had making/playing with it. The best!
I like that you're prioritising making one quality video per week, I think it's a good idea and hope it will work out well for the channel! This video was definitely fun to watch and very clickable 😉
Ive watched this channel for a while and ive expressed my admiration for Jazza before but i must say again that his passion for what he does, makes his videos even better. When you enjoy what you do, it shows. ❤
I like the idea of more involved and time consuming projects over several small projects. The higher quality and cinematic shenanigans is a bonus! I think most important is that you all have a nice work/life balance and don't work yourselves to death to make content. More merch! Can't wait for those bags to go on sale. I also love vinyl stickers.
For me, the one video a week is definitely the preferable upload schedule, especially when we get high-quality videos like this! Thanks Jazza and team for all the content. Let’s see Shad review that sword!
Epic!!! Now all i want is a collab between Alec Steele and Jazza 👏 He could teach Jazza real forging! Can you imagine the amount of passion and energy with those two in the same room?? 😱 It would be so fun to watch! Also, please keep up with the longer, more in-depth videos, it's a great format.
It think it would be awesome if you tried your hand at quilling. It's an obscure, super simple, super cheap papercraft that looks like scrollwork, or filigree. When your done. Also looking forward to the eventual stained glass video. Glass blowing could be another unique art challenge.
I’m on board for one bigger video per week. Also we now need another collab with Shad, I still think the 3D printed swords was the hardest I’ve laughed in years when they just broke all over the place, but I understand if you don’t want to smash this on some armor.
@@kvmbeast4366 for a brother, that disappointment will be doubled especially when youre known for swords and your brother makes this monstrosity everything else aside cool sword and shads brotherly love is probably bigger
EPIC video!! Production value is top notch.. move to one video a week is definitely working for you. Watching Jazza’s boundless ADHD energy is the highlight of my week! Swords are going in the next lot of mercy right? 😂❤️
I'm sorry I don't really agree. I don't think the added production value really adds anything to the art and process. Just bell's and whistles on a pig if you know what i mean.😂 Would be nicer to have jazza do videos we enjoy rather than waste money on a huge production team... doesn't change the art
Honestly, this was truly amazing to watch! Your creative process of fiddling with different resin mixes, the finesse in preparing the molds and casting box, the craftsmanship for metal and clay work, and great presentation of the glow-in-the-dark effect at the end, made for a really really good video. Thank you for sharing your creativity with the world!
The one video a week I think is a much better approach to your whole platform. It keeps us eager for more, and when you do produce a video it's high production value and gives us something to look forward to every week. I'm all for it.
imagine doing THIS for your work- honestly Jazza's videos are so entertaining and I find it awesome that you get to do all these arts and crafts things!
I comment this on basically every video. But I just don’t understand how a person can be so talented in so many different mediums. Like…literally everything Jazza touches becomes a fantastic work of art. It’s ridiculous. 😂
“Empty your mind. Be formless. Shapeless. Like water. You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee
Much love and respect to you and your channel Jazza. I hope that all is well for you and your family and friends and I hope that all of your dreams and aspirations come true and that you are safe during your travels and adventures and while recording your videos and going live on RU-vid.
These level of builds, cinematography, and videos are absolutely mind blowing! Great job Jazza and everyone in the Jazza team! This was like watching an actual television production similar to Mythbusters, Forged in Fire or others of the like. This deserves so many views!
oh man, so many nailbiters where this could've gone wrong, but oh my gosh so happy it went right because the end sword is FANTASTIC! using the glowy powder to make the letters pop was such a good choice. really like the idea of bigger projects once a week than a couple a week, excited for what's next!
Sword making tip, squishing the hilt pipe a bit so it has an oval cross section will be more comfortable to hold then a circular cross section. I learned this from Shadiversity.
considering how hard the team (and you) have been pushing yourself, if the one vid a week will lower all your stress levels and help you. I'm all for it. your vids are worth waiting for (eta: freaking awesome sword btw)
Dear Jazza, I guess you're not going to read this but I want to express my sincere thanks! I've been going through a lot in the past years and one thing that always and reliably cheered me up, were your videos! Thanks for being so authentic, so enthusiastic and giving me new and lighter perspectives on things! Keep up your amazing work! (also apologies for my english, i'm no native speaker!)
I’d love to see more of this kind of thing!! It’ll make me happy knowing that you’re getting more time to yourself as well, cause we won’t have more jazz’s videos if you overwork yourself!
There is one other glowing sword that comes to mind. The sword that seals the darkness, the blade of evil's bane: the Master Sword. Especially her most recent iteration in Tears of the Kingdom.
This could be an interesting way to do a collaboration with Shad from Shadaversity, like seeing if this sword is actually acurate and how generally glowing swords can help in combat. Idk, it seams like a great idea and i truly want to see them together again.
It would probably depend on how the glow works. If the sword glowed like the resin sword it might act as an intimation factor but if the glow was able to illuminate similarly to like we see with lightsabers then the glow to the sword would be a little more practical
I mean they are brothers and as far as I know live in the same country so it wouldn't be difficult to do a collab. Especially on something like swords, a subject on which Shad has a LOT of knowledge.
I think a colab with Jazza, Shad, and Alec steel could be really awesome. have them design a sword with the artistic flair of Jazza, Alecs forging ability, and shads knowledge, then have it tested. Could be really cool.
This is the kind of video I wanna see! I mean I watch you every week because I support everything you do but - this is far more quality and entertainment that I love.
You need to try that sword again, but put fiber optic chord with filaments through it will a light source in the handle so it glows from the inside, so it looks ethereal!😃
Jazza I swear you are a true master of Art wheter it be making beautiful pictures or Amazing swords or just about anything.. Almost like you lived 1000 Years Honing your skills to perfection.. Keep up your impecable skills and your wonderful amazing videoes.
I remember when Jazza was just a drawing channel in his home, came a long way and I’m proud to say I’ve been watching since like middle school, now I’m grown with a wife and son of my own and I’m still watching
This was so cool to watch! Roughly halfway through, I thought, I want one! this turned out to be fantastic. Getting the colors a certain way, Frostmourne could be created to have the blue glow too!
Jazza, your so awesome. I love all of the projects you come up with. I hate that I stopped watching for so long cause I feel I missed so much awesome work. I enjoy the passion and enthusiasm you put into your work. Makes watching something I probably would have skipped actually enjoyable and my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling as you try things out not knowing whether things will come out the way you hope. Keep up the great work! Stay adventurous.
I'm a fan of Shadiversity and I seen Jazza commented on one of the videos. Never seen your channel until now and your artistic skills are absolutely amazing. This piece was beautiful.
After following jazza for years and watching the projects get more and more epic and seeing jazza be happy about the results is so exciting im always happy when I see a new upload
