Shit. I'm obviously joking. My real idea is kinetic sand. The absolute chaos that would ensue. Oh my gosh I'm just imagining him trying to sculpt but it keeps falling apart omg.
Well Gareth has always been a bit of a joker, suited Jazza's work style really well because of that. At the previous studio (Jazza's Shed) they used to have a bit of a banter every other video or so.
jazza eating that entire jello block was one of the most uncomfortable things ive ever seen... besides that kid eating the entire chocolate cake in Matilda
Gareth's last video has a bit of every emotion: Anger 4:59 Anticipation 0:59 Joy 11:20 Trust 6:19 Fear 1:01 Surprise 10:38 Disgust 10:35 Sensuality 6:52 and of course.. Sadness 0:35 Good luck on your next adventure!
If you ever try this again, I'd suggest doing it in a walk-in refrigerator and try adding some heating elements to the carving tools. Jello gets softer as it heats up, so keeping the surrounding environment cool should make it last longer and stay solid, while heating up the tools should let you carve through it with more control.
Jazza should do an artwork of all the cool people that have helped grow Jazza channel over the years. Great work Gareth, will miss your dry sense of humour and how much jazza bounces off you.
I grew up watching Jazza and of course Gareth. We’re gonna miss you Gareth! Its kinda bittersweet, its sad seeing you leave but im so happy your going on your own journey and wish you the best in painting your own masterpiece!!😊🥹
This was epic. You should try again, but use the recipe for the jello jugglers. It makes it a denser jello that is handle-able. I bet you'd be able to do it with the bigger size then. It comes out closer to gummy worm texture.
It seemed like they may have already done that, as it wasn't nearly so melty as it should have been under lights and being handled if they hadn't made the denser recipe. But that does bring up the point, maybe do the work in a walk in fridge? and smooth it with heat.
All the cuts of him stuffing jello in his mouth give me life. I commented this before we got to the medium one, I think that one stole that life back away.
Moment of appreciation for jazza everyone. He’s been in the community for years, been in no drama, cool and interesting content and remained funny the whole time
Gareth, I started watching jazz’s 4 years ago, when you had just arrived, it’s sad to see you go after you’ve stuck with jazz’s and us for so long, but I’m sure that your journey will be just as fantastic, thank you Gareth, for everything!
@@cappytan9058, well yeah. You boil down chicken/pork/any other fatty bones and skin and make broth. When it cools down, you get a good jello&fat layer on top. The fat part is the best part :D
I'm legit pretty sad about Gareth leaving. He added a lit of comedy and sass. One of my fav parts of episodes honestly 😅 That jello eating montages was one of the funniest things I've seen on this channel 😂 That said, you seem so surprised by being able to sculpt it.. am I the only one that's always made sculptures out of my jello? 😅
Your not alone. I used to cut mine into random stuff. Once I made a flower. Then I sucked up each petal one by one... he loves me, he loves me not. 🤣 but I was 6yrs old
I don’t know why I assumed the lubricant Jazza was using was like wd40 or something like that 😂 and I’m sitting here wondering why Jazza was okay with eating the jello…I realized it was probably vegetable spray after 😅
I too was vaguely concerned by that but the flower on the can looks like canola oil, which is a cooking oil, though still concerning with the amount he got through XD
There are ways of making the jello harder - I know Ann Reardon has a video for an ocean cake and its something like 4 times as much gelatin as you would use to make regular jello if you want it to hold up under its own weight. This needs a second try with super strength jello!
Having Gareth in the background always gave the video a little more comedy! You will be missed Gareth! Take care of yourself! And I'm sending you the best of everything there is for your future! 🥰👏👌
have you ever tried doing it with clear gelatin and you kinda stab it then inject paint into it with syringes and needles, you can make some really cool designs, ive mainly only seen people make flowers with it, but this reminds me a lot of that technique
Gareth !! Im so happy we got to see you here, not often but your commenting on what’s jazza was doing in different situations expressed all we wanted to say in this specific time, so it made videos even more fun 🤩 Good luck to you !!! 🥳 Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱!!
I'd honestly love to see him try that art where they inject gelatin with ink. This concept with the jello reminded me, but it's definitely something that would be new to him, but he's no stranger to food and weird ways of making art, so it'd be up his alley
I like to watch uncensored, quite explicit educational and medical videos and never once have I felt as nauseous watching one of those as I did today watching you "sculpt" that jelly by eating it. 😂 I can only imagine how terrible your tummy felt afterwards and definitely don't want to think about what happened the next day. You truly will do whatever it takes to create... art. Gareth, thankyou for your awesome work helping to make Jazza's videos always be amazing quality and for your occasional dry humour helping to keep it real from behind the camera. Good luck, I hope you have success in whatever your new adventure is.
I wonder how many of these videos end up with some kind of "no you cant sculp jello" and never get released, but they still commit and try out weird stuff even if it doesnt work and i really appreciate it
Garrett thank ya for being the freaking genuis that brought madness and creativity of Jazza and team together in a cohesive and fluid video with all the love and work put through the editing! May your future be filled with the best and prosperity man! Oh and Jazza, I hope you didn't waste any of that Jell-O, gotta honor the last request!
ah yes- the creativity of doing art with the most random things- and tbh I love it! I can't really afford any proper sculpting mediums... so when I saw Jazza's video on sculpting with soap, I went and grabbed a bar of soap, sat on my bed and started carving... it was really fun and I loved it- now I'm gonna go and give this a go too 😄 thanks for all the great inspiration with every video Jazza!
I don't think he realized this... but when he looked buzzed and had the little bits of blue Jello in his beard 7:01, it looked like he was on Crystal Meth 🤣💀
The texture left behind from cutting it with a blade looks like obsidian. That last one looked like an iceberg! Especially with its milky, bluish, color.
I think this as a medium would work best, as you say, making quite geometric shapes. Given the consistency and reflections, I don't think curves work so well, but I bet you could get some really great faceted jewel-like things.
When jazza was sculpting by eating there were a couple shots that just... no. OTOH, I'm genuinely sad that Gareth is leaving. I hope whatever he does makes it into my life in some way. He was definitely a big part of the heart of the channel for a long time, even if he wasn't on camera much. Good luck, Gareth!
Heat your knives and wire cutters a little before you make any cuts. Use hot water and soak your tool in it before and after use, that way you clean and reheat after each cut
I had to scroll way too far to see a comment like this. The whole video I'm just like, "Whyyyyy is he not using hot knives?!?" But still entertaining and funny as always.
Every time you flipped the jello I just wanted to scream at you to do it like flipping a cake... like putting the board on the container and flip the two things together in one swift motion (with a bit of energy in the upwards motion before the flip so the cake stays in the pan a bit while being turned), that would probably have helped with avoiding the weird tub-laying-on-its-side-while-jello-tries-to-escape moment we had here
Wow. Was actually laughing out loud!! 😂 I’m going to miss Gareth, you guys have great comedic chemistry together. Also your sculptures were actually really cool! The movement and lighting definitely made it super intriguing to look at, but also just fun. I very well may do this with my little cousins for craft time now. Thanks again Jazza! 😊
The close up shots of him just eating the Jello is too good xD (the lil one) Edit: didn't expect he was actually going to sculpt it by eating afterwards
