Hes a smart player. He used everything that gave him a movement advantage. As the largest character in game having the same available movements as even the lights character (excluding attack moves or specials, ie dodge dash jumps etc) very good player who definitely understands how to play the IG

As an IG main, this guy just taught me new tech that I had no idea existed. People really don't understand how hard it is to play with him against higher leveled opponents. "Cannonball" has no priority whatsoever and can just be upsmashed 100% of the time, plus you can just kite out our bolt shield until its gone. The cancels and movement choices this guy made was on the highest level of IG I've seen..."GGs in the chat"

Every time I play an iron giant i feel like I’m playing a video game boss, they just repeat the same moves. Just move out the way and wait to attack

i feel like this video is an example of how great iron giant can be and then how the loss of momentum makes him terrible and so easy to be combo’ed

Iron giant is so easy to combo, its kinda fun to play against him sometimes

Im trying to max every character and am playing as ig at the moment. He is really good with him and taught me some things. Usually i use the s*icide bomb on the edge after the grab but i see how useful the car smash is. When playing against him staying as close as posible and even getting attack decay hits really hurts because you need room to get good attacks with him. GG’s to both of you!

That character seems so toxic to fight against but it’s physically impossible for me to hate anything related to the Iron Giant

The way he scream “how are you alive?” Is just too funny

This guy is honestly one of the best IG mains I've seen, I play a lot of 2v2s and get paired with IG mains who don't know what their doing, so they easily get combo'ed and we lose

It's nice to see my playstyle with him vindicated like this. Could've made some smarter plays, but the agile playstyle is so necessary for IG and he whipped out some tech I didn't even know was possible. Also made me aware of certain attack trajectories I wasn't aware of, like how his cannonball starts as a spike but the final hit is strictly an up smash or how the bolt shield can be activated while in hitstun. Little things like that really add up, but when the opponent sticks to him like you did with Bugs he just struggles outright without perfect timing and reads. He's just too big to not try and take full advantage of the game's systems and his potential strengths. Still waiting for his kit to be finished to have any confidence running him in 1v1. He's not supposed to take any knockback in Terminator Mode, and he's still missing a side normal in the same stance.

He's pretty good, but he can improve... He barely makes use of the fire spots for cheap dmg, uses down special alot even tho it's very punishable, doesn't cancel his side jab into other moves and down jab is useful to camp because it adds hitlag to their opponent but doesn't make use of it, also terminator is a downgrade to base form

IG is just so easy to hit combos against its not even funny because of his massive hurt boxes I’ve only struggled against a couple I typically just let them waste their shield then go in
