Never have I been so invested in a match against Iron Giant

They need to nerf how long he can walk while holding you, but he also needs a buff in some other areas, and that's coming from a iron giant main

This feels like when you’re fighting a boss on max difficulty and it kills you in one hit while it takes 1000 of your hits

2500+ wins? Are they playing 40 hours a day?

I think iron giant is a really cool character design-wise, but his cheese is so incredibly frustrating.. I have to completely change up my play style vs. good iron giant players.

It upsets me how 99% of his KOs are just grab and up special.

I fought this guy for some reason even though I'm rank 1100 and I almost put my fist through the TV lol

I'd recommend Tasmanian Trigonometry for escaping the instakill. It's not 100% reliable but it helps a lot

iron giant is op in a sense mostly due to the grab but seeing how big his is and the feel of the character when using him evens it out in my eyes

Playing as a good Iron Giant is so fun, however i feel a good assassin player can take them out very easily. Espectialy with Arya and her up special combined with combos. His hitbox is terrible so you can also take adantage of that and be able to rack up damage while the other players focus on the other opponent

you play well. just remember when IG does his spin you need to smash DI every hit to get out. if you play smash your probably already familiar to what smash DI is. to those not familiar with it, its not your normal DI. smash DI is DI'ing on the second frame of hitstun rather than just holding a direction when getting hit. a common technique to pull this off is to to roll your joystick from the direction you want to go to the directions on the sides of the intended direction. this increases your chances of getting a smash DI. another common technique in smash was to use the c stick with the joystick to increase chances of landing it as well, but using the c stick method was a weaker variant because the c stick would override the joystick causing you to be able to DI multiple directions at once or more commonly known as automatic smash DI or ASDI. or you could just learn the timing to the extent to pull it off with ease. anyways, yes smash DI is a thing in this game. although i havnt tested ASDI yet.

10 second cool down on the grab and make him lose more fuel when he flys and attacks

He needs a rework, theres no way to balance his "get off me" tool, its fundamentally broken to have the option to cancel a combo, grab, stunlock at a whim. Look at wonder womans armor for example , I personally think armor has no place in the game but atleast she cant pop it in the midst of being comboed and considering IG has a grab it gives him a free grab.
