Hi everyone that hasn’t finished the video and went straight to the comments: 1. I bought the car under the impression it had 180,000 miles (what it was listed for) to turn into a cheap drift car. It turned out to only have 59,000 original miles after we jumped it, we thought it would be a shame to send it into a wall with that mileage so we sold it (yes we came up). Car was scanned for any mechanical faults, only code (CEL) that came back was for an emissions related component. Oil was good and not dark. No leakage from any of the lines, coolant hoses, or expansion tank. 2. My R32 is at the shop currently dissembled as a piece of metal someone got sucked in through the turbine and grenaded my pistons, right now we’re waiting on the machine shop. I have no control over the pace of the rebuild. These motors take time and skill/experience to machine as they have tight tolerances. 3. My RX7 is not broken it just needs a new battery as I forgot to hit the kill switch when I let it sit lol. 4. I sold the matrix after fixing the water pump, car ran fantastically, I recently was given a 2000 Toyota Tacoma for free, no need for two reliable dailys. Sold it to a father and son who happily will share it and continue to daily it. 5. Not all of my cars I sell are because they’re broken, in fact, I’ve never sold a car broken (non running, of course they’ve sometimes had little issues but nothing major like a blown motor lol) If I truly were one to sell cars when they break, I would have sold my GTR a LOOONNGG time ago 😂😂 but I love the car and want to keep it forever. 6. I sold my e36 M3 because at the time I didn’t have a job and couldn’t afford to keep it. Unfortunate but that’s how life was back then. 7. I sold my 1989 240sx because the frame was so f*cked, it would have costed the car itself to pull back. TDLR is I enjoy trying new things, and I keep what I like. While my decisions may not be financial responsible or logical, they are what I like/want. I want to start building and exploring cars that I like, not for anyone else.
Bro, I do the same thing with going through a lot of cars, and owning many at a time. I also love trying out new cars and seeing what I enjoy, and sending on the ones I'm not crazy about. Driving is everything to me so to me it's worth it. 👍
Doesn't matter if the oil is visually good, if it's 10 years old, it oxidized and lost some of its lubrication properties. (And yes the oil can be oxidized and still be visually clear!) The additives in the oil are long gone by that time. . Tsuchi I really like your videos, but you should be more rigid with proper maintenance of the "new" cars you buy...

The first thing i would do is changing the oil and fuel! Instead you drive it hard with the old crap in there ... man there is a reason why all your cars break so fast. Rip Bmw Z3
It had no fuel in it when we got it and then drove it three hours home, so it definitely has new 91 octane fuel in it. We also went over all the vitals of the car, checked the fluids and addressed anything it needed to be mechanically safe to drive. Not everything makes it into the video.
@@Daybreaker7826oil doesn’t lose viscosity with age. It can become contaminated but if it’s in a sealed system, it won’t degrade. Still a good idea to change it, but it’s generally okay for a little usage
@@EthanMark101I am sorry Ethan, but what you are saying is completly wrong. Oil does degrade over time even if its in a closed system. Over time, oil becomes less viscous thus less efficient in maintaining proper lubrication. Synthetic additives are the first one to go over time. Why do you think an oil bottle has an expiring date?

These are awesome little cars! I had one and they aren’t the fastest of course But all they really need is stiffer coilovers for the front at least and a front strut tower brace thing and your good to go for togue I’d prefer a square tire setup

Got my 4 cylinder Tacoma! Doesn’t burn a drop of oil, trans shifts great, and hauls all my parts. Gets me to work and back every single time. Toyotas ftw!
