I FOUND A LUMP IN MY BREAST | STORY TIME + DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENTS 

I have dense breasts as well and always have to get ultrasounds too. February 2021 they saw something on my mammogram so I had an ultrasound and a biopsy. May 5, 2021 I was told it was breast cancer. My life literally flashed before my eyes. I was anxious and very emotional. I kind of blanked out while the nurse navigator was talking. I was in disbelief. I had no family history of breast cancer. I went through 16 chemo treatments, 20 radiation treatments and a lumpectomy finally in November of 2021. It was quite a journey but today I am cancer-free. THANK GOD!! Thankfully it was not cancer but it scared me so bad and made me realize just how important these routine exams are. I’m so glad you were brave enough and willing to share your story! Thank you!

She had a large breast lump and ,didn’t know what it was for a long time. It turned out to not be cancer. It’s super scary that things grow on our bodies . The outcome is not always cancer. Nik first, I am lifting you up in prayer. I'm not sure how recent you recorded this video but either way I am praying for you as you go through these various appointments. I pray that God gives you a calm in your spirit and that all is well and no concerns are found. I pray that they are able to schedule you for the procedure so you can get that annoying/painful knot out of your breast. I have had very lumpy breasts as well and they have said I have dense breasts as well. So I want to thank you for spreading light on this topic because no one has ever told me about a MRI being an option and probably a better option than a mammogram. You will probably save someone'a life with the transparency you have shared. May God bless and keep you. Remember whenever you are feeling worried to counter any fear that may try to creep up with, "God is in control, I need your strength Lord, and please make all well."

I’ve been having mammograms for years with dense breast and not once has any healthcare professional recommended that I have and US or MRI done, however you are the second woman patient that has brought this up. I will definitely let them know that I would like to follow up with one of the other tests after my next mammogram.

Dear Nik, Thank you so very much for sharing this vlog. I too get mammograms every year, as my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer (🎀) in 2014 at 64 years old. That shared, while mammograms are extremely uncomfortable, and in my personal opinion, downright painful, an ounce of prevention is indeed worth a pound of care. Hi, I’m going through the same thing right now with dense breasts and was told the same thing .I have two as well in my left breast I’m 43 . It’s almost a year I go back next month for a ultrasound , do you think it’s better if I get a MRI ? I just can’t stop thinking about if it has grown because it hurts at night when I lay down . I get it Nick. Same here but my chest is larger. I found 3 in my 20’s and had them removed and I have one tagged. I asked my doctor years ago if there was any prevention and he said no, but to go on a caffeine free diet. I did that over 20 years ago and haven’t had any caffeine since. Of course that means chocolate and coffee, but I drink herbal tea and I found a caffeine free coffee. I went cold Turkey because I was tired of being cut on. You don’t have to be strong all of the time. It’s your body and your emotions about it are totally understandable. I also have a family history of breast cancer and dense breast as well. I don’t know anyone that will admit a mammogram isn’t painful. Thank you for sharing your story. I’ve always felt alone because I don’t know anyone that has experienced this. Be encouraged and keep taking those deep breaths. I felt that one at the end. That was a good one! ❤much love to ya!

I have no breast cancer in my family, but have every other kind you can think of. I have a small lump in my right breast and it too is painful! I have to monitor it every six months and since I have dense breasts as well I have to do a ultrasound after every mammogram! I'm doing a breast MRI next week!

You eat well so you will be ok but me being vegan also i suggest taking a multi vitamin and black seed oil supplements those work wonders.

I had large breast,but in 2005 I had a breast reduction,but I still have a nice size breast and I make sure I get Mammograms and yes they are very uncomfortable 😣,but i rather be safe than sorry 😞 😊

Good morning, I’m going through the same thing right now. I also have small dense breast with classifications in both breast and 2 benign nodes . I was advised just to continue to get my mammogram / ultra sound every year , I was never told to get a MRI. I pray nothing but good health for you. This too shall pass. Thank you for this video.
