It's good! pacifist run also helps you learn how to avoid conflict, avoid shots. I alternate between aggressive and pacifist when playing.

Look for slamanddunk. He's great too.

Same here. I usually either have spells that make lots of water, or breathless/electricity, never both. Hopefully someday.

there was a daily practice run the other day that started you out with all the necessary tools, unlimited spell cast, sea of water, breathless, faster swimming, and later on electricity. was very fun, reccomend trying out some of those seeds

@@McQueeb Yes it was a "broken neck". A fracture of any vertebrae is a broken back or neck. I'm miraculously 99% recovered. I go mountain biking every weekend in the summer. So it didn't slow me down much. Haha

@@brennentuning2786 One of my best friends also suffered a long time from fracturing his neck while over-rotating a frontflip, he had pains and lack of range of motion for years, think he's mostly back to normal these days.

if you enjoy and can spend many, many hours with a game because of mods - there is no shame, and it is objectivtly a good thing. Subjectivly speaking.

same thing here but other direction. I got the mod that makes it so 1/5 enemies drop healing pots that heal roughly 20% of your total health. also got the mod that starts you off with a perk because I wanted to see more of the perks without having to risk a run I've already gotten invested in (looking at you Teleportitis. never again)

Man, I always wanted to do that strat. I always miss one cruical ingredient, to do it. :D The first and only time I've won yet, was when I got a wand that gave enemies a homing field, which made their own bullets fly around themselves + melee immunity.

God dammit, I just came to the comments to ask if anyone has seen Santa dudes in the first area and... Spoilers man. Seriously.

This game has so many things to see and experience that it doesn't really matter the way you go as long as you manage to survive.

I personally go as slow as I can to accumulate cash, wands, health, etc. but some people will tell you to skip ahead. It's entirely up to you! As Andrés mentioned, do what feels comfortable to you. Tips that could help you could be: 1. Your second starting wand can become a machingun with some low-tier projectiles. 2. Try not to exit the Holy Mountain by the meant exit or else you will destroy it. There are not many places where you can edit your wands, If you want to completely collect all the wands and spells on every level, you need to take over some Holy Mountains. There are many ways to do this without angering the gods, the best way is using Teleportium. 3. If you happen to anger the gods, the best way to kill Stevari (the Guardian of the Mountain), is through Freeze Charge or Circle of Transmogrification. If you don't have something like this, abandon the Holy Mountain and avoid Stevari at all cost. 4. In my experience, the best way to collect gold easy and fast is learning how to kill with an Emerald Tablet. This will also help you against powerful foes such as Stevari. It will take you some time to master all this tricks, but I trust you can do it, young Noita player.

i like to kill as many enemies as i can while looking for chests and better wands until i get low on hp then ill go to the next holy mountain

There's more to alchemy than just these. And to be honest, the pool is far too great to try and guess them. Honestly I would say no, just focus on getting better at the game and if you get lucky every now and again, have fun with them at that point.

there are some fixed recipes that you could look out for, like concentrated mana with steel or water.

@@McQueeb I'm not talking about making LC or AP, I'm talking about specifically the static crafting recipes. because Berserkium and Pheromone are considered valuable materials and are made from materials that are readily available when you would want to get them. Berserkium at floor one(partially the collapsed mines) and Pheromone at Icy depths(using the leftover Berserkium) as it has more Worm pheromone at that stage, but Flummoxium is common enough anyways.

Ahh, I understand. To be honest, I don't even know the intricacies of the basic liquids myself, other than what was previously mentioned. I only tend to think of a flask that I pick up as having a specific purpose.

No hit run, each pixel is simulated. It's sometimes hard to tell weird ground texture pixels apart from something that does damage.

Goes against the self-imposed challenge I created for myself. Invis would be far too easy. Not saying it's not a legit strategy, but I wanted to make it as hard as possible for myself :)

Never personally considered the possibility of seeded runs, but Smickles added the category on speedrun.com, so it's legit! Amazing run with SO MANY close calls. Loved it!!
