@@deadzio worth is an individuals perception/preference. simple way to mathmatically see if its worth it is divide cost by 4 and if youre buying in the ingredients for that or less then bingo
Danny, if you'd of carried on few hundred yards past where you turned left into river court... You'd of seen dinosaur park, made by the steel industry in Boro. Keep up the great work Danny... Ps welcome to the North East bud
@@Aussie3225you hold your knife in your stronger hand (originating from steak and beef that can be hard to cut I think) so if you're left handed the fork will be in your right hand
That is an amazing pre-footie meal. WHACK ME UP Before you GO-GO. The weather has been merciful as Whitby appears to be lashed with rain. Love Danny getting on with the business of getting that down, little time for chit chat.
Iv seen some of the comments about could of fed the homeless and gluttony. Danny is a content creator not the priminister who's responsible for not caring, and meny meny times danny has given his food away to homeless and meny others so before you comment troll someone else thanks 👍
@@shuuuuut_4217I’m from teeside u can’t beat a parmo it’s chicken scallop deep fried with bechamel sauce (which is cheese sauce ) topped with grated cheese done under the grill or through a oven absolute banging
Danny, we don't have that parmo in the States, at least here in the DC area. It looks like a round fully loaded calzone, Ginormous! That's enough to feed the whole family.
It's a chicken parmesan topped with bechamel and cheese. No bread involved (other than the breading on the chicken. They were "invented" in Middlesbrough. They can be made at home easily. Fillet a chicken breast and then hammer it even. Dip in egg then seasoned breadcrumbs and fry until golden. Make a beschamel sauce with whichever flavours you want to add. Pour the beschamel over the fried chicken, then cover with grated cheese. Finally bake it until the cheese is melted.
@@soyebaswat5382 There is an identical dish in the US already. But its regional like in the UK. You don't find Parmos outside of the North East with the odd exception in the Midlands, like you don't see battered chips outside of the Black Country.
@@soyebaswat5382 Thanks bro for the information. Handy to know.... I think the point still stands. After all Manjaros is a Middlesbrough company. I am glad they are introducing the Parmo to the less civilized parts of the UK... AKA the Saaaaath lol I don't live in the UK so would be very pleased indeed if they opened a branch where I am... in fact finding Halal food is a pain in the proverbial where I am so all additions would be welcome.
Brydz and Burgz Whinney Banks new place on the block , wicked food mint Parmos , burgers are next level ! Golden Bell for a parmo Aswell 👍🏻 2 good food places in Middlesbrough if you’re still in the area
Here in the states for two at McDonalds it is about $25-30 U.S. dollars for a burger, fries and a drink and a lousy burger at that. Here you are getting a pizza which would be enough for two people, plus wings, a burger, fries, what looks like gyro meat slices, dip, I mean you can't beat that which in U.S. dollars is about $24.69 an outstanding value for all of that and on top of that it tastes good.
The parmo is definitely from Middlesbrough, not Newcastle. If you research it was created by an American who had a restaurant in Middlesbrough in the 50’s. If Newcastle have parmos it’s simply been rolled out there due to its closeness to Boro
Hi Danny, I’ve been living in NCL city centre for 30 years now, and a Parmo was never a thing at the takeaways until a few years ago. They’re gaining popularity, but have always been a Teeside dish traditionally.
