Damn, this is so nostalgic! My friends and I used to play in the pre synchro era. No banlist, no meta, whatsoever. We just played with what we had. 3 pot of greeds, 3 raigekis, and what not.

You’ve made me sad remembering my DDS promos. I still have them, but they were severely damaged back in day, the Blue Eyes in particular is almost entirely peeled off the cardboard backing, it’s utterly tragic 😢

This was so cool! I used to play at a books a million all the time! I ran rampant with my CED/BLS/YATA! Then, when they had a huge tournament, they never told us that they were enforcing the Ban List. More than half of my deck was banned. LOL

What a great video surprise! I love seeing such a unique collection like this. I also have all the early tin promo cards which I enjoy having bindered up and my big collection is that I collect holographic versions of every normal monster that exists in the game. Also looking to have a complete set of Dragons of Legend 2 cards, my favorite set.

So happy to see a collection like this. Please do not put these on slabs, there are other ways to protect your cards without locking them up from even yourself. Even an Ultimate Guard Magnetic Card Case does the trick and you can open it anytime you want!

Its so cool to have those in such good condition. Most of my cards from that era are HP because I heavily played them. Also LOB DM is the best art of DM.

Every art that has red on him besides the Arkana art looks disgusting, so no. Currently the best art is the MVP1 art. Specifically the gold secret rare version because that looks amazing on normal monsters. I own 40 of them for a reason. Then it's the JUMP promo taken from the Kaz artbook (sadly also where the Magician Gal - which was technically just Dark Magician Girl art - we will probably never get came from) and SDY. The worst ones are the ones using the slab art, CT14, and LOB. LOB is the best of the bad ones but still one of the worst ones.

This is my awesome Yu-Gi-Oh story: Back in the day I had a damaged Jinzo, it was bent and scratched, and I traded it to this kid at the card shop for a Swords Of Revealing Light. I had $5 so I bought a pack of Pharaohs Servant and pulled a brand new Jinzo.

Oh man I remember buggin my mom incessantly to go to McDonald's to try and get a cosmo queen or millennium sheild. Lmao my parents hated yugioh back then. I remember they were so relieved when I didn't want pokemon stuff anymore. Then they found out it was because I got into a different card game with witches and demons in it lmao.
