Progress isn't inherently good.. it just suggests movement in a forward direction. But forward itself isn't even specific, you can move forward off of a cliff which helps no one.
My grandmother’s home was not a work of art. When her siblings sold all their farmland and homes, it was developed into a commercial area. Her home was purchased and moved to be used as offices in an industrial area 20 miles away. This was about 20 years ago. The house is still standing, but it looks terrible. I have never understood why they bought the house and moved it that far just to let it fall into disrepair. As usual, Noah does it again with a great explore.
I do not think i have watched one of these that made me cry. It broke my heart to see a family home just left like that. It was so well built and immaculate inside. Who ever lived there kept a very clean house. There is so much value in the building stuff that remains. Even the bricks could be reused. It makes me sad too because when you live in an old dump, and see this.. Those window toppers are called valances.
Oh my, I absolutely could see myself living there!! What a darn shame to tear that house down. That upstairs marble bathroom wow I could lay in that jetted tub all evening long! It's so sad to see the chandeliers and light fixtures still there what a waste! The basement probably wouldn't have flooded with the sump pump running - such a shame and so sad.......
I don’t understand why they can’t have a sale inside of the wood, marble, floors, bathroom & everything that people who are building or remodeling their own houses could use. Even crown molding could be reused. So sad.

It is abandoned till someone start living there just to get visited by two police officers in front of the house saying: “you cannot be here). Bro! You literally have families being homeless, they’d take care of the house and pay for the electricity, water and gas. They prefer to let the house fall apart and not give anyone the chance to have a roof. I don’t get it.

Never saw a laundry room by the front door, usually they are in the back of the house or in the basement. You know the help bars and stair lift isn't just for people that are old, Someone could of been disabled and needed the help. 25:11 That's a small shower. Pretty upstairs bathroom. How did they find everything that matches?
Oh Noah, I ❤ LOVE ❤ THIS HOME 🏡❤!! The staircase is stunning, and the doors🚪are so pretty! That Gazebo is EXACTLY what I told my husband that I wanted and he didn't understand, oh my!!! The room where the tree was growing is what I would use for parties, weddings, wedding receptions, and the like. Whoever sold this home and property for 16 million dollars NEEDS to have their mind examined, I'd NEVER sell this EXCEPTIONAL home!! 🏠 You have just found my DREAM HOME Noah, and now it's going to be demolished, oh, I have a headache!! 🫣 🫢 😵💫 😖 😫 😩 Thank you for sharing this home my friend. The dead dry plants in the green house could be tomato vines, such beautiful grounds around the house patterned paving stone the dome like plant close to the house could be a mulberry, a close up of leaves and a branch I could identify it. The citrus tree looks like cumquats the fruit seems large though. The fruit are too elongated to be tangerine, or mandarin. Those upright strips on the wall could be grow light. Could have been an indoor orchard. Chandelier is not glass glass would clink. The top counter the toilet and bidet and bath are all a form of resin I have a wash hand basin in one of my rooms like that but in pink. Although the wall tiles are lovely its too much. Sad. But water in basement not good. Big😢😢 remidiation with black mold. House is too owner specific like crazy bath. Tear it down. They are happy with their fortune. May not have long to enjoy it. Not for me.
I will never understand how corporate takes over and leaves the past in the dust. How do they sleep at night??? Keep destroying the past 🤦♂️.. worked out great for Germany.
