That's not only an amazing footpath to do some metal detecting and taking a nice stroll but it seems a great area to do birdwatching too. I heard three different types of woodpeckers and a buzzard. Hans, I once found a coin purse while detecting.The cloth was gone, but it had contained 3 pennies,9 washers, and 2 small rocks.Obviously belonged to a child.I got a chuckle out of it.

Hans, hi from sunny Australia. I enjoyed your video very much & l was fascinated by your detecting finds. Your country is steeped in history & your finds verify this fact. Your videos are very well produced & l have taken note of many points in order to make my own metal detecting videos more appealing & interesting to viewers. Australia is some what lacking in very old finds with approximately 230 years of european occupation. However, my country is rich in goldfield history & l have recovered many coins, bottles & relics from them. I have my own personal museum under my house where l display a large part of my collection. Apart from metal detecting l also collect anything that l find interesting. With the coins you recovered from that purse in your video what are the dates? I would very much like to see your collection & how you display it as you strike me as not the sort of person that just puts them in a draw then forget about them. I love coinspills/pocketdrops, I've had 2 in my 6 years detecting, they're exhilarating! Both in France, one was a collection of 7 or 8 Louis XVI and Revolution era coins stuck together (a purse drop that had molded over time), the other being just recently 14 1950's era francs (142 francs), where someone might have fallen off their plow horse cart! I have to admire your cinematography and camera angles used to make this video, this is only my first one of yours, thanks for sharing :)

The costume brooch was a nice find. I was really pleased how clear the glass gems are. It even gave you a tiny amount of gold. The way the purse kept giving coins, that was wonderful to watch. Great day of detecting.
