His shot isn't calibrated because he doesn't hardly ever take any. Shooting in game is way different than shooting in practice, so I honestly think that if he just attempted 2 or 3 every game, then at some point he'd find a little bit of rhythm
I agree and it’s more of a why let him shoot when you have the best shooters on the floor only chance he’d get to shoot is in a touch situation clock running out not expecting it at all compared to a play being run for him to have screeners he’s only on that team to be a big body and get board and be there if the pass is needed nothing more nothing less let Steph clay Poole shoot there 50+ shots a game just be there for the board and easy 2
nah thats not why, in college in high school they used to compare him to kevin durant. then he injured his hip which hindered his jumpshot and athletics in general
When your 6' 10 " ya gotta dunk. He rarely & barely does. He could be adding sky hooks like other bigs. He could take post ups, which he did in college. He doesn't have to waist possessions with threes. He moves slow as molasses, but he's got good hands & instincts. If he's gonna stay, he's got to capitalize on his strengths. The Jokers proof that a big slow awkward guy can compete with fast nimble players. Looney has the court IQ. He just needs the green light. The whole warriors team has to get back to next man up best shot & cut out the sloppy passing.
