I found my BIGGEST gold NUGGET while prospecting in Tasmania

Its been a big week of adventures and I find my biggest gold nugget sitting on bedrock while exploring a new river in Tasmania.
My brother has flown down from Brisbane so we've spent sometime prospecting for gold, we also head to Granville harbour in Tasmania on a crayfish and abalone diving trip.

Hi good to see you and your brother and son spending quality time together and yep gold dose get push out of mountain and from rocks when big storm hit so after a few big floods.. you would thing something mite wash in to that river again .. but hay nice Cray's nice rich colour not sure about drivein in that kelp look freaky on the video but I do enjoy your guitar playing around the camp fire on other videos so keep that going especially when you in bush it's adds to the atmosphere of wild Tasmania.. and it did look like someone pointing the way to the next bigger nugget

Gold does travel in floods. In California rain washes the gold down to the rivers from the mountains. Don't know much about the geology there but normally floods do move gold

Awesome video Levi great to see the Tassie Boys back in action, as you know i have been sniping that river for decades and i have see some big floods and as for nice size gold i haven't seen floods bring it back to where i have got bites before only small flakes i would say it takes hundreds of years for nice gold to move down only my opinion. Pioneer Pauly got me hooked on sniping and he's up in Canada, Vancouver island. He's got a few vid's up showing tricks, how to follow the crevices, etc. Also a flood is a great thing to happen, it will move a lot of overburden and help concentrate the gold in those crevices so there is still hope even if everyone else has been there.

Great vid mate , the bikes reminded me of when i used to forest ride with my two sons , we had an awesome time , till they both got girls and got married , funny how women always spoil the fun hey , lol . I had a KDX 200 , my oldest son had a RMX 250 , and my youngest a DT 200 , yeah and my youngest broke his ankle once getting air , lol . Your brothers totally Rad off the scale , lol . Really a beautiful looking nugget. Visiting Tasmania should be on my bucket list. You have lobster, abalone and gold! What a shame we can not longer dive for red abalone here in Ca. I spent more time hunting for trophy abs (over ten inches) than searching for gold.

I’m gonna have to plan a trip to tazzie now!! I’m used to lobster 🦞 here in the islands but those look tasty too They look much more red then the ones we find here. We don’t have abalone but those look tasty too!!

Don’t know if anyone else noticed but at 00:32 in the video the drone footage shows anomalies on the beach. Dark spots in the break that look like concentrations of black sands. Hard to say what it is without actually being there. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Just before you showed the wrist, I was thinking you were getting a little old to be acting that stu-d. I have also seen videos where you are having Challenges with your young boys. So, since you are now a respectable father showing your children a good example, it is time to start searching for gold. I would love to do that but I am a grandmother 👵 who rides a scooter to get around so I would never get to the area to search. I just have to be satisfied to watch you guys get all the goodies. Now, if you could send me some gold (LOL) I could put it in my sink and suck it up with a straw!!! Oh well, thanks anyway. Love to watch you. Tasmania is a beautiful country. Thanks for sharing!

I thought it looked more like a scull, as such it has to be named something uniquely Tasmanian, hence 'Thylacine Skull' or 'Tiger Skull'. Nice find....
