G'day my name is Levi and I'm a prospector and adventurer of gold living in Tasmania, Australia. I've always loved the outdoors. It wasn't until later on in life I really got serious about prospecting. This came about after fossicking for gemstones in NE Tasmania. From this, I started researching gold in Tasmaia. From the abundance of information now online I learnt how to prospect and where to find gold. Once I found that first piece of alluvial gold the rest was history, I've had gold fever ever since and I'm extremely passionate about it.
Add thorns and briars plus getting completely covered in ticks with steep slopes covered in leaves on top of brittle slippery limestone and it'd be like where I live in Arkansas.
Brother.... you're not even wearing gloves for that hellbush?! I respect the willpower, but damn. Btw I hope you have a satellite phone with you for emergencies? Stay safe out there!
Rarely comment but I've gotta say... These videos that you make a really calming, yet really exciting at the same time. Magical nature, history and treasure hunting. Really amazing (Oh and since I forgot to mention it on the sapphire videos - they are really fun to watch, I hope there will be more of those). Also, holy guacamole that ground was RICH - what an experience that must have been!
This video makes me feel much better about spending 11k on a perfect teal blue 3CT Sapphire as part of an engagement ring. The original stone must have been 8+ CT
I don't even like pushing through the thick undergrowth and brambles here in Missouri, but dang I'd hate that mess!!! Props my brother, and thank you for the tag-along!
Man I get family. But that place would be my only focus. You could just take a 30 foot section at a time and I feel like you could have years of gold searching. Great finds! Congrats
I'm from Indonesia and a loyal viewer of the videos you make. I would be very happy if I had gold nuggets like the ones you get from the Tasmanian River. I hope you and your family are always protected by God and always healthy. amen
Hey Levi. Watch all your video's every week and I look forward to them. Thanks for sharing. Even the tough stuff is interesting and shows it isn't always easy doin what you do. Just a thought. When in PNG going bush, my friends would carry their large bushknives (machetes) for exactly that type of country it's amazing what they can clear away. Not sure if it's legal here in Aussie but it would be a bit safer.
Mate, for a moment there I was pretty sure you were going to bump into Dr Livingstone, it certainly was hectic. Maybe in places like that you should take a buddy. Just sayen
That’s insanely packed shrubs and trees, I’m surprised you don’t lose your sense of direction. Still beautiful scenery even with the weather and fast waters.
As the crow said “ Farrrrk”. Tough slog Levi. You must have a custom made wetsuit to fit in all that testicular fortitude. Glad you did get some gold but bloody hell. Take care mate 😁👍
