Coming from a sub-tropical climate to the northern hemisphere, please be sure your dear wife has sufficient humidity in the coming weeks! A humidifier will help the most, but she should consume a great deal more water and apply hydrating oils to her delicate skin!

Your wife looks like she's in a Dreamland when you're going to all that snow in the mountain passes I'm 64 years old I remember the feeling of going to new places and it just seemed amazing good luck to both of y'all and I'm going to tell you he's her in a biracial relationship don't listen to anybody criticize you I'm half Native American but I'm real white looking and my wife is full blood and in our younger days we got criticized a lot because most people didn't even realize how much Native American I was play that really doesn't matter what matters is that you love each other and to hell with the rest of the world thinks the true friends and true family will be there
For a while I was considering moving to Russia for my masters. It was really a toss-up between that and India. Either way I'd like to spend over a year in both. Being a black person, this makes me feel more comfortable moving to Russia for a while.
Let me tell you two true stories. When I was in Lagos , my sister's mum in law came to visit, as she does when in town,bringing her quiet friend ( who lived in my estate). These women were in their late 60's early 70's. I started talking to the quiet woman and was shocked to learn she had been a doctor who trained in Russia! Apparently Russia gave free scholarships to African students when she was very young. This surprised me because Nigeria is a former British Colony so it couldn't have been on Russia's side during the Cold War Era, and yet Russia accepted Nigerian students. Anyway, her brother was the one who got a scholarship first, she went along, hoping to do any degree but was encouraged to study medicine after the compulsory one year of learning the Russian language. She had nothing but good stories to tell me about her experience. Bear in mind this was a time when they wouldn't even have seen a black person on tv, never mind in real life! Another story was with a much younger woman, also in Lagos ( our kids were good friends at the American school, which was full of ex-pats). She was from Mozambique. She had lived in various parts of the world. I asked her which country was the most racist, fully expecting her to name an Eastern European one, I nearly fainted when she said "Brazil"!LOL. I asked her favourite...without hesitation, she said RUSSIA!! So, do your research of course, but I just wanted to share what I had heard from two totally different generations of women, whose experiences spanned several decades.
