I Found NYC’s Last Legal Warehouse Apartment… 

"It's almost like this kitchen was designed by a landlord that expected you to use it"....Nice statement! I once rented a place outside Boston that the oven did not work. When I called the landlord he asked me "What are you a baker?" I then mentioned that I didn't see a smoke detector in the place and that if he wasn't there in 3 hours to fix/replace the oven and smoke detector, that I'd walk across the street to the Fire Department and invite them in for a tour. Yeah, different kind of landlord. He didn't arrive to fix it. I didn't stay there past 1 month....he was bad, and of course I reported him to the Fire Department. Cost him somewhere around $15000 in fines after the Fire Department toured his building. Don't piss off your tenants man....especially in a "small town".

Those are trolley tracks. This is a neighborhood that people moved into right after they get off the boat at Ellis Island. My Mother lived in Williamsburg as a child. I'm 65.

There's a big difference between street art & graffiti & some of that street art was magnificent. I was pleasantly surprised by what the building offers. Even the open kitchen in the apartment was nice. For the price I like it but all those stairs & no elevator is a deal breaker for me

This is a beautiful home. I love all the little touches. The people that get this one are very lucky!

That park is actually pretty freaking cool! It's big, has a running track, a basketball court and nice bathrooms. I like the braille and sign language there too. You made the neighborhood seems sus and sketchy with the jokes hahaha. Nice apartment anyway!

That's an awesome building. The art on it makes it stand out for all the right reasons. And I've said it once, and I'm going to say it again. In my opinion, you will find the best loft apartments in Brooklyn. And the icing on the cake are the simple but cool amenities in the building.

I would love to see this space furnished. I'm sure it would look fabulous!

I really disliked that brown tiling in the bathroom, but... I could get over that for $3700/month for that space. I thought the building's amenities were nice and FREE and I love the access for those who are handicapped. Overall, a great space and opportunity. CONGRATULATIONS Cash in achieving over 400K subscribers! Now, onto 500K!

Awesome loft! Looks like mine years ago, same high ceiling, brick as this is obviously a former factory. Except I paid $600/mo for the space only. Shared shower/sink which was located OUTSIDE our living space with the other artists. I had to walk down a long hallway to get back and forth. Sometimes the hallway was covered with paint, or dry pigments. Thank you for interesting video. And, this is a pretty good price for these newly refurbished lofts. Also a great location.

Twenty years ago vendors would set up card tables in Manhattan and sell books so new they were not yet in bookstores. They came from a 15 thousand square foot warehouse in this neighborhood. The books were randomly stored in large cardboard boxes without any logic. The gentleman who showed me around would not speak to their provenance.

"Luxury apartments?" "Ah, yeah, sure." I guess luxury is in the eye of the beholder. This apartment has a good kitchen and plenty of living space (with just one window), but then I run out of nice things to say. The neighborhood doesn't excite me, and I'm never enthused about lots of stairs.

That place is really nice! Love the kitchen and bathroom!

Absolutely love this loft. The bathroom was outrageous, such beautiful tile! The only thing that's a drawback are the bedrooms. If they knock down the middle wall and make it one big bedroom that would be much better. Not crazy about the area either. Aside from that, it's a winner 🏆

This is right across the street from GraffTours!! This is where I do my street art and graffiti tour. Where the steam is coming out is one of the largest dumpling and noodle factories in the US. Cash! In 2017, my day started at 230am and ended at 11pm for about 8 months! Weekends off. I was trying to save money quickly to get another apartment. If the will is there, a way will present itself!

The value you get in Brooklyn is night and day from Manhattan and the village. You pay the same amount for that huge and gorgeous Williamsburg luxury apartment as you do for a little studio in the village and midtown lol Such a no brainer where I would choose to live.

3700?!! In the Midwest, Missouri to be exact an average house payment is about 1700 or lower!!

I like the pressed metal ceiling in this one. Was surprised at how dirty the apartment was though. Don't tenants have to clean it (or get it cleaned by a professional) after they move out? That's a requirement of tenancies here in Australia.

I only pay 4K a month rent when i'm travelling on vacation (OK, for me, that's 4 to 6 months in the year, but still!). (Canadian, too, so more like 3K US) I can't fathom how hard you have to work to maintain that 12 months a year, plus feeding your wife and 2 kids. Kudos my friend. I respect hard working people so much, especially since i upped my work myself so i could live more💜

At 7:27 mark, what is with all of the mold around the tub ? Hope the mold is removed B4 the new tenants. Why put in a duel wash/dryer when you have space for separates ? Otherwise nice place. Hope the shoes you wear tomorrow are not too heavy.
