The (cat caught) bunnies and chipmunks die from shock after you release them back into the wild. It’s best to let the hunter enjoy their prey and finish the job. It’s simply natures way. We live extremely rural in the mountains of VA. We only have so many cats b/c several of them enjoy going outside (we are heavily wooded,) coming in and out of the AC during the day. We usually only have a hunter cat “bring home the bacon” maybe once a month. They are fat and happy with their diet, so they only hunt for pleasure. However, they do consume their catch or gift it to one of the younger cats. Corpses are rarely left laying around outside. 😂 Right now they are usually flying red squirrels or chipmunks from under our shed.

I live in Washington State on the eastern side and we've had weird weather all spring. It's finally warming up to the 80's this week. Russell is getting so big and it's a relief that he was just resting. A lot of people get those hard plastic kiddie pools for dogs to cool off in. Just a suggestion.

I wish you would bury a kiddy pool or two to fill up when the weather is really hot like this. It sure would help the dogs. We have a pond that is a life saver for our Great Pyrenees.

She was a outside & indoors cat. There were many times I went outside to check on her & she would have brought me something & laid it on the front door mat. I felt that she was trying to show me that she could do it. Sometimes I feel they are not wanting to eat it, but to play with it. I just think don’t realize how much damage their claws can do. The one I have now will be sitting in his cat post & when I walk by him. He will stick his paw out to grab me & sometime he cuts me. I know it’s by accident. Ok I hope y’all have a blessed day.😊

Your right about Smeagle, my barn cats always showed me their prizes and I would pet and praise them. I am down to 1 barn cat. I sure hope I get picked in the next cat lottery. All my barn cats where feral cats that learned to trust me and my husband.

Cool boat. Along with what you're planning on doing to the boat is to do a complete service on the engines, jet pumps, elextrical, cables and controls etc. I would also recomend keeping a jumper incase you have a problem with the batteries, extra spark plugs and tools to replace them if needed. Congrats on the new baby goat. When Jerry my cat comes up to me with a fresh catch we all eat good that night. 😁 Sometimes it's a bird, opossum, a baby or adult rat. Every now and then my 13 year old yellow labrador mix named Chuck will grab whatever Jerry caught and says, thanks little buddy. 😾🐭🐶😊

We had an outdoor cat when i was growing up. And we would come home from day trips and there would be "gifts" for us that the cat would leave us. And she did leave a "gift" for everyone one of us.

My father owned his own upholstery shop so I grew up learning about all this stuff. You can't just cover it it's going to need to be removed and new foam rubber you can't use that old foam rubber. Look to see if there is any upholsterers any of them can figure it out. Make sure that they put new backing or new foam rubber. Love your show boat looks great.

Puppies are like babies, their bodies have a hard time regulating heat.

The only way to buy a boat is used. People become desperate to get rid of them. That one looks nice and has a nice deep hull, which will hopefully keep its nose down.

It has been miserable here in NC as well. It is so humid and hot it's hard to find relief. Praying we all get relief soon WITHOUT BAD STORMS! We have the 'thrifting' for treasures in common with you! We don't buy much "new" and then we create our own from the bones.. We LOVE hunting antiques and giving new homes to things that meant the world to other precious hands long gone. I've had a couple of cats that were like that. One was a mama cat. She would get rabbits, rats, snakes, and sparrows mostly, and she would eat them. The Tom I had was good for bringing home prizes and would lay them on my front porch like trophies. Gotta love them.

I have to agree with you Kevin with Smeegle. Felines be it domesticed or wild. Will bring back their catch to share with the pride or family. We had a cat that would bring back nothing but the head and leave it on my mom's bed.
