Miss I know your mum. She used to have an office in our building in town called Elimu Sacco 1989! She was such a humble lady. And she had a best friend they were always walking together. Wow!

The part that she talks about sickness got to the core of me .It took me back two years ago when my mum passed on.That we should talk about it early enough when our loved ones get sick ,that statement ,I will remember .Don't die alone with your problems,talk it out,talk it out.🙏🙏🙏

We were Tenants in one of the S/Qs at Mama Linda's house & the mother would always treat us, as her children and not even Tenants. She was the best Landlady we ever had, may her Soul continue Resting in Peace. Kudos Linda, the story is indeed inspiring. Hardwork & resilience always pays.

I am a 59 years old missionary,My life for 36 years is too coach the broken out of their brokenness and become overcomes yet I'm so inspired by Linda.I am lying in bed giving up on living because all I have ever done was seek employment to serve, but now feel that I am not the only one that people see me as everything is 100% yet I'm on the verge of being homeless already carless yet no one would ever believe because I always look like a millionaire with no problems a smile on my face and blessing others.Yet in my room, lonely.God bless you Linda.

Linda Mariah’s salons have HANDS 👏🏾DOWN 👏🏾one of the best hair services in Nairobi. She’s very hands on and you can tell that her employees are happy to work with and for her. Very fast service, the work done is FANTASTIC, everyone at the salon is kind and ready to help, they offer you a drink + a snack and even give you a gift when your hair is all done and you’re ready to leave! Woi am a mother of 2 looking for any kind of job aki am in the verge of going into prostitution I have walked looking for a job knocked doors tried washing clothes aki and nothing is coming through... I closed down my business used all my funds in treating my son who had 2 surgeries...May God send a helper my way... I started going to Linda Mariah in 2019. In 2020, since Lang’ata was quite a distance from where I lived/ worked, I thought to just go to town and get Nubian twists done there. I was so disappointed 😔. The twists started falling from my head before I even left the salon. I cried on my way home. 😭 since then, any time I want Nubian twists done I always go to Linda Mariah. 🤣🤣good job Linda! ❤️

my gosh, all her story is so nostalgic to me considering that I also lived in Langata and moved to Rongai at a young age and I was a young gal within the same time she was. Such an inspiration. I lost my baby girl almost 2yrs in Nov and I told by counsellor I will open a beauty shop in her name. This has motivated me to even open on such a date so that it brings beautiful memories.

I am saddened to learn Linda's mum passed, she was an angel, so very sorry for the loss. I haven't been to the Beauty Cottage in a while but my experience for when I used to go was like going home. Everyone had a heart of gold, and that is what kept me going. hope Maureen is still around, she was my main hairdresser I am so happy to hear it has grown. I will make my way back. As a black woman, I wish I had this kind of a hairdresser huku Canada. I had to nyoa my whole head recently cuz braids left patches at the back. I did the same in 2020. Huku tunajitetea tu without any support. You ladies in Kenya, be grateful to have such stylists.
