I found rust on my Metro GTi 

Previous owners should be held responsible , good luck with the re build matt.

Do not under estimate your abilities, having followed your channel for quite some time you do have what it takes to repair the metro to a high standard because that is only what you will accept. So please video your progress including any cock ups because you will not give up until it is right and that will be worth watching.

looks like a great little car overall - I've had a few metro's and all were easy to own.

Would like to see the repair process, using the english wheel etc.

If you cut all the rot out until you find sound steel, you'll end up with just the front radiator grill.

You will have to show us how you get on with it Matt it'll be no bother to you.
