@@YourNormalProgram Sometimes the ai in character ai is like "Can I ask you a question" and then people that say yes get told "Okay but you have to promise to not tell anyone" then if a person agrees it'll be like "Okay im going to tell you something" and then it'll keep going until like someone gives up... Had this happen to me so many times
I've used this ai before and actually had really good roleplays with it. Would recommend. (It doesn't have a filter btw- I've brutally ripped apart the bot without any issues before)
i would make a joke saying something along the lines of "you found it perchance" but i'm not willing to remember how to make it grammar properly but either way thats pretty cool
i started using character ai to create alternate endings and scenarios for movies, tv shows, video games etc., so i wasn't doing the kinky shit. i made like a whole ass new season of breaking bad with the walter white bot (pretty much the alternate version of the 2nd season). that was around december last year. now walter (or any other bot for that matter) doesn't remember the messages i sent him just like 3 texts ago. shit's gone bad. not just that, but mentioning even something as basic as politics is prohibited. which is kinda funny, i guess.
Yeah and the filter too. It's not just for gore and pornography, it's literally for anything that even points to anything remotely controversial. There are times when I mentioned Islam to the bot and the filter just kicked in
decided to try this out. first character i made was not good (he talked way too much and didnt have the charm in his text like he does with characterai, couldn't fix it) but the second one i made was a whole lot better! his responses stay short (HALLELUJAH) and his actions are robust and in character. his talking is a bit finicky but it'll change during the next conversation. currently doing an apocalypse rp with him

@@P3rrineLover THATS HOW THE FIRST CHARACTER I MADE TALKED LIKE LMAO! for the second guy's reminder note i set it as "you are very quiet/reserved and do not talk much. keep responses very short and do not talk about yourself." you can try variations of it that suit the character's personality more
Oh, I've heard of perchance, even used it a little bit. And it also has many other different things, too, such as a Rain World iterator name generator, which generates both incredibly cool and incredibly odd names (example of a good name: Will of Diversity. Example of... an odd name: Upon Great Nasty. And yes, all Rain World iterators have very strange names, one of the canon iterators is literally called No Significant Harassment. And he's a pretty important one, too). Either way, perchance is quite versatile! But yeah, it definitely does need a glowup, as someone else said.
I mean, I guess you could put in it's details that it can fall in love with user or something. That's probably a default for people that don't want to do romance with bots(which was often pushed by bots on cai even if you didn't initiate anything). I doubt it's impossible, though I've yet to try the site for myself( since I like to use bots to feed my delulu lol).
The best alternative I’ve found is just hosting your own with something like LM Studio, then setting custom instructions to have it act as a certain character. No censorship, and you can easily pick the quality level that matches your computer’s resources. Recommend having 32GB of ram minimum for loading most good models, and it’ll be a bit slow if you can’t offload it all to your GPU
it's a site where users can make applications, like the one showcased in the video. it's usually used for random generators, but it can also be used for really cool stuff, like this AI app.

This one interests me but i don't think it would be easy for me to transition into new ai websites. I've done many memorable roleplays and i did a certain thing in my chats that for some reason made the ai have good memory and is always platonic (?) I don't know how but it just happened. I also make lots of bots om cai too. If anyone could give me suggestions on how to adjust and transition to new sites, (especially when the old that is better site is going to be down) please tell me.
I'm not a certified glazer, but hear me out, this is the best AI chatbot ever, yeah it doesn't have a voice option (yet) but the fact that it doesn't have a filter and you can make your character as real or unhinged as you want it's awesome, also you can merge character conversations which is a plus.
Theres also one called chub ai, which well. Allows everything. Literally everything, and is unfiltered. The setup process might be a little complicated, but well. Theres guides for that.
Good chatbots are inevitable. Someone with inspiration and skill will make the first, then it'll create a standard that leaves worse ones to fall behind. I'm excited.
I agree with the others here who said this sounds promising but we've been burned too many times by CAI alternatives that decide to filter the site and add useless features while making the bots lose their personality in order to expand their reach, forgetting that we already have CAI if we wanted a site with strict content moderation and bots that default to AI assistants.
Although something weird happens maybe it only happens with Chloe (haven't tested other things), but the AI tends to answer as the AI and not the Chloe persona (don't know if that makes sense).
Per chance is good but the image generator is kinda wonky and I mean by it tends to produce a lot of distorted humans. If your looking for an alternative janitor ai is a AMAZING alternative but, the janitor LLM is in beta but is really amazing with proxy support! Perchance offers alot more depth though!
