Hi Mac. Nobody instructed you how to make thw bbq dip. You're supposed to mix the soy sauce with the calamansi (lemon like) by squeezing then cut some of the pepper if you like. Before eating the bbq, you can then dip it in this sauce for better taste. Try it next time.

I remember my japanese friend Ryuji. When we roam around anywhere here in d Phil, and pass by a BBQ stall. He tries all kinds of bbq. And he would say all were so delicious especially the vinegar. Sometimes we stop bbq stalls one after another I different places here. And when he comes back hi ome in Japan, he definitely brings home our BBQ vinegar full of onions. He loves our BBQ and also d vinegar sauce. D last time I saw him was in maybe 1999 including his Filipino family. I keep on searching them in fb but I can't find them anymore. Perhaps he got mad at me when I said goodbye to them d last time I was w them. I really miss them! Ryuji and Janet I miss you so.much. sorry for I did say goodbye to you!

You can always find a lot of fast food stand (mcdonalds, pizza hut etc...) around especially if there is an event. The one you are eating is McCrispy Chicken Sandwich. McChicken Sandwich is different. The one you're describing is the McChicken with the lettuce and everything.

hi Mac. Watch some of the vids from Manila, surprised you haven't gone to Tarlac, Clark and Baguio in the mountains. I'm Canadian and traveled to the Philippines 7 times and when at the airport I get Star Lines bus or taxi..$7 -50 to go to my 2nd home Bamban only 45 min and in the mountains ..Makati is my fave... Buffalo wings and great shopping, best tacos are in Clark SM Malls. Enjoy your visit.

well wait until u try and visit the provincial side, probably best in Cebu, some fun adventurous activities u could do, canyoneering in kawasan falls n stuffs, very different from the city life, more calm, chill and healthy. Best to get or search for a good tour guide, maybe get ideas on which tour guides would be best from other vloggers who have been there.

I just viewed your first vlog yesterday. Will view your others. Enjoyed the content. One missing YT channel is a English-speaking gringo expat adventures in metro Manila. So, a backpacker's fresh eyes is welcome. How is your Globe phone 100gb working out? I bought one last Sep and tethering was disconnected after a few minutes of use. You mentioned $350 for 5-day Ramada. Alternative is probably airbnb if 30-day minimum is ok, but price may not incl elec, water, internet, tv. Be careful of street muggers though Duerte drug hunt reduced them. If you appreciate ballet, Manila has/had 3 great companies; some of those dancers would be professional stars elsewhere.

Just funny how the girl mock how you greeted her "Magandang Gabi" the Gabi is also taro in the Filipino language but it is delivered differently from the gabi (evening). She said beautiful taro, with teasing laugh. Cute. A Lapid is a popular chicaron brand. Balat is Skin in english. That one sir is a Chicharon which is a deep fried pork skin
