Any tips on the permutation method? I've tried it alot and stll don't have a shiny alpha! (I have the shiny charm and level 10 research)

Here’s some steps I use when I’m doing permutations assuming there is a next wave in the outbreak 1)know how many Pokémon are in wave 1. The more Pokémon u have, the more chances u get. 2)keep track of the order you do knockouts. 3)get lucky wave 2 or luckier in the same wave. You can also do the leave method on the last 3 Pokémon where u leave and come back to change the Pokémon in the next wave. I got a few non aggressive alpha shinys this way like rowlet and aipom. Don’t be afraid to ask for any specific questions. I love this game

Just mimicking what acegamer said! But I would like to add: just stick through it. Use the permutation tool in the description as it gives you step by step instructions, and with time you will eventually find a shiny alpha. It’s all a numbers game :)

@@Willowneedspills no worries 👍 also u can use a throw item (not a pokeball) to get the “!” Icon over them. That way when u start a battle u will get the Pokémon u hit in the battle. As long as they are aggressive this should work. U might be getting the bad end of the luck but when done right it works very well

I once got a shiny Sligoo in an outbreak without the shiny charm after catching two Sligoo. I also found a full odds no shiny charm shiny Zubat the day before this video came out :) . (Not tying to brag!)

Man you're lucky with the shalphas, I only have a shalpha Ambipom from a space time distortion and a shalpha Machamp from the alpha spawn at the icelands... Really want to get Infernape, Alakazam, and Lucario too

Have u tried the ghost permutations where u leave and come back at the last 3 Pokémon? I got 2 shiny alpha Rowlet and aipom through this method since I couldn’t battle multiple of them

I’ve done it once for cascoon! I sometimes forget to do them because I’m lazy but I definitely need to start doing them. I could be missing potential shinies 😭

Look up Austin John’s video on permutation! He goes into better detail! Essentially, the order in which you catch and knock out Pokémon can change the spawns in a second horde!
