A few tips for you, Welyn! - When caving, it's always good to bring an extra set of armor. Arthropleuras have a spit attack that are specifically to destroy armor. - Just a few Megatheriums wont do; for bosses, generally you'll want quite a lot of creatures for bossfights. - Ghillie Armor will be very useful; You gain increased resistance to heat, meaning areas like the Lava Cave you did last basically NEED ghillie armor if you want to stay inside long-term. - Yutyrannus are ESSENTIAL TAMES! They have the ability to apply a buff to your other tamed creatures, increasing damage output and resistance. This is extremely useful for bosses! - If you do another playthrough on a different map, I suggest that you get a few mods. Mods like Structures+, Awesome Spyglass, Kraken's Better Dinos, and Ark Additions: The Collection can make your game much more enjoyable! - Bats are in most caves in the game. Lesser Antidotes are useful to cure the Mega Rabies they infect you with. - Your current base won't do for much longer. You'll need to expand or move your base to an area with greater access to resources to hold and gather all of the supplies / resources for your late / endgame endeavors. - Upgrade from waterskins! There are other ways to hold water that allow you to drink more. Water jars allow you 2 drinks, and Canteens allow you 3!

Hey here’s a tip when u loot ur body or anything there is a symbol on top of the inventory that allows u to take everything at once u just have to press it the symbol is two arrows goin away from each other

As someone with 1k hours on ark (rookie numbers I know) it's simultaneously painful and awe inspiring seeing Welyn tame creatures with no regard for what level they are, what taming effectiveness, what stats they have, etc. It's one of those things you forget as you play, that desire to tame something just to have it.

I really love the ARK content, totally not because its one of my favorites games , but also because of your take on it. As a tip i would like to tell you that theres an option for easier dinos transport. It's called "Cryopod" and you can make it in any obelisk (the place when you go for bosses) if you have enought materials. It basically works as a pokeball for dinos. Keep on going :D

Just so u know argies get a rapid heal buff when the eat a corpse, you can burn leeches off with fire, and for bosses you should use rexes or spinos as well as start with the gamma difficulty, the thing that dismounted you in the redwoods was a microraptor, turning your difficulty up to 1.0 will allow Dino’s to spawn at lvl 150 (which will make them incredibly powerful), harvesting bugs with the frog will allow you to get free cementing paste, crafting lesser antidotes will cure mega rabies

Welyn just to let you know the arrows on the top of the menu next to search when you're looting your dead body's inventory transfers all items at once so you don't have to pick up each item one by one.

A good tip for the Megarabies, with Tintoberrys and Narcotics in a cooking pot you can make health brews, which one every few seconds will keep you alive and well while having contracted it, and is also great is situations where you are taking alot of damage and can exit a situation while staying alive. You can also craft antidotes to immediately get rid of the megarabies.

Try making cryo pods at obelisk or drops they are very helpful for moving Dino’s and if your ever about to die just have your strongest Dino in you pocket and throw them out to take everything out

I love these videos and all the memories they bring back. My earliest dabbles in ark were as chaotic. By now i just steer clear of areas I know have jumpscare animals except for taming purposes and never enter a cave if I am not prepared with a ton of meds and stews. And I only tame if I have enough protection from angry fauna. Edit: Also, with the button above the inventory of for example your corpse you can transfer everything.

WELYN WELYN WELYN, get some things called cryo pods. They will allow you to transport your tames but be careful because when you throw them out they will contact a thing called "cryo sickness" but you will be able to carry them in your inventory without them having to get them to follow you. Just a lil tip trying to help and keep from all of your tames during while trying to get artifacts and exploring

This game looks pretty cool actually. I've heard of it of course but never really saw gameplay until you started putting out videos on it. It looks like there's a lot to it, with all those different animals around, crafting. Hilarious that enemies in that one part could infect your mount to not listen to your commands. Looks cool. Also I lol'd when I saw that it was actually called mega rabies. I thought that was just a funny name you guys were using but no, it's actually MEGA RABIES lmao

You might want to fiddle with your maturation settings, seems by the cut that Monica was fully grown before you could imprint, the bonuses the imprint gives the Dino will help in every way.

Find otters, they're passive tames - feed them dead fish you can drag after you kill them - and pick them up, they will offer excellent weather protection to you. You will fare much better both in cold and heat when you carry them. Just turn off their harvesting of all kind, else they may run off after some carcasses when you drop them. In any case, they're pretty much essential for good survival, especially when you travel in extreme temperature environments, like some of those caves will have. Also, otters can carry several artefacts of same type at once, while everyone else can only take one at a time. It's a unique feature what otters have. Stock up on those artefacts, you may need few extra ones :) EDIT: also, visit one of the spires and see what materials you need for cryopods, those will help you to sneak your bigger fellas through narrow passages in caves. Just watch for cryo sickness, depending on your server or game settings it may or may not occur. Can also craft them at any of the loot drop boxes, just have to mind their timer :)

Hey Welyn a tip for cave, taming and any other ordeals where you would need to respawn close by. I suggest making sleeping bags and staking them. They are one use respawn points that don't have a delay timer...
