You showed quite a lot that I have never seen before. This was excellent. The pear pizza sounds amazing. You have the best job in the world, walking around the streets of Rome, sampling all the pizzas and other street foods. I need to go to Rome again!

We need a Vincenzo merch that just says "creamy" lol. I usually put his videos to listen to while I work and the amount of times I hear "creamy" is incredible!
Carbonara in a croquette!! Interesting!! You must make a video for this recipe, please!! 😊 I will definitely taste them all when I get to Rome!! Hopefully!!😀
My friend this is how street food should be everywhere, quality products to represent perfect your country's Goody's, bravo 👏 to you for showing the world this, and the nice people that work and create these unbelievable yummy street food❤loads of love from Thessaloniki Greece to you and your beautiful family ❤my favorite Pizza is mortadela pistachio also 😊😊😅😅😅
Hey there! 😊 Thanks for checking out my video and for your comment. The pear Pinsa is a must-try, and the Gorgonzola and honey is one of my favorites too! Glad you found the crust interesting. 🍕🍐🍯
"Pear, walnuts, Gorgonzola, Honey" You just described my dessert pizza my friend! I have made this! My only regret for my three days in Rome was not eating more pizza!
Well, this weekend I made a risotto with pear, gorgonzola, walnuts, powder of burnt shallots, thyme sprouts and a splash of balsamic vinegar as a first course... A must-try!
Hey there! Baccala with polenta is a classic dish in Venice, and it's great to see people appreciating its flavors! 😋 Let me know if you have any questions or need tips on other traditional Italian recipes!
Hey there! Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. 😊 And yes, you're right, the pizzas in Rome are amazing! Hope you give some of my recipes a try. 👨🍳🇮🇹
Love the video vincenzo love your content your a amazing RU-vidr I love watching your videos they are the greatest and the best and the coolest watching your videos allways bring a smile to my face the food in rome looks very yummy I will definitely am going to try and go there
"Real" anchovies are nothing like the canned ones in the stores! I first had fresh anchovies in Spain, and fell in love---came home to USA and tried them: thought I had gone to Hades! So if in the Mediterranean area, do try these!! If only once in your life, you will enjoy these fishy little treats! And the pear and mozzarella is probably wonderful--after all figs and feta are a delight!
Thanks for the compliment! When you visit Rome, make sure to try traditional Italian food at local trattorias. It's a completely different experience than eating in restaurants aimed at tourists. 😋
Is it just me or has Vincenzo's Italian accent grown more intense during the past years? Btw I am so envious of you right now. Rome is a spectacular city!
Hey! It's been a while 😄 Thanks for watching! I've been living in Australia for a while, but my Italian accent is still alive and kicking 🇮🇹 Enjoy Rome and keep cooking! 🍴👨🍳
9:57. Pears yes, but woe to pineapple on top ! Go explain this to the Americans ! 😉 But here of course it is the combination of ingredients that makes the difference.
Hey there! I totally agree with you 🍐👍 No pineapple on pizza! But you have to admit, the combination of ingredients here is spot on 😋 Thanks for your comment!
I love ur videos im from algeria and im learning a lot about italien cuisine! Im cooking with you’re recipes and advices and i would love to come to italy ❤️❤️ thanks boss
I thought fish with cheese was a no no in Italy! I'm glad I was mistaken. I love anchovies and I love cheese! We'll be there in June, looking forward to trying all of these. . .
Hey there! In Italy, we don't typically pair fish with cheese, but I'm glad you're open to trying new things! Looking forward to having you try more of my recipes in June 🇮🇹🍝🍷
From a Rome resident, Pompi is ok if you don't have time and you want sugar high (there are better choices!). Their tiramisus are produced in industrial quantities for distribution -- not really the best in Rome -- too much sugar.
Thanks for the insider tip, Rome resident! 😊 It's true, nothing beats a homemade, authentic tiramisu. Your taste buds know the real deal. Buon appetito in the eternal city! 🇮🇹🍰🌟
I have four things to say from one chef to the other chef. Mama Mia Mangia tutti 🤦 1, watching this video I put on 25 pounds. 2, I don't know how with all the food you ate you did not stain your white shirt. 3, I used to make at the restaurant Angel hair pasta with a light fettuccine Alfredo sauce and topped it with sun dried tomatoes ,gorgonzola cheese ,toasted walnuts and Julianne thin sliced pear and a little bit of honey on top I freaked out when I seen that pizza because I thought I came up with that recipe lol 4, I worked in a pizzeria that was owned by Sicilian guys and we used to take the pizza ball let it rise again rub with oil put it in the oven and bake it when it was halfway cooked we would slice it in half we would put olive oil ,anchovies, parmesan cheese and we toasted the both halves of the bread when it came out we would put fresh tomato ,fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. Everything thin sliced very thin. 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏✌✌💖💪🍾🍳🎅🚌🌻
Amazing food. And I watch this video and I am thinking ... Vincenzo, are you really REALLY happy in Australia? Far away from all this beautiful places, away from all this food which is absolutely TOP in the world? I am far from tell people what they shoould be doing, but take your wife, kid and come back to Italy. This is your homeland, this is most beautiful place in the world, with amazing cuisine. I am Pole from Poland and I would die to live in Italy. Your cooking youtube channell could benefit from this change. Australia is amazing place, but "at the end of the world". I wish to come to Italy soon to try all these food you showed. Thank you.
Thanks for your kind words! Australia has become my second home and I love it here. But of course, Italy is always in my heart ❤️ and I visit often to connect with my roots and bring back new recipes for my channel. Can't wait for you to try them!
Looks yum i never been to rome before and i just realized i last commented on your videos was 29 jan 2023 and sorry i took a break from commenting past few weeks but will be back commenting on your videos from sundays onwards BTW cant wait to make your recipes soon for me
@@fransbuijs808 oh man its difficult, i dont know what you have there. I was thinking about restaurants when i wrote, here in Poland. About polish markets there is a lot of them around the world because like 10 milion Poles lives abroad. But try brand Krakus, its probably around the world. All kind of sausages. Other thing is dairy. Try cottage cheese for example. They also should have good mustard and mayo, pickled vegetables like cucumbers, paprika or mushroms. Canned food is also ok, like canned meat. Try few things you like
I was very lucky! My Polish great grandmother's and my Polish grandmother all lived to their 90's. We were always welcome in the kitchen and I grew up with excellent homemade Polish food!
Fantastic! 🙌📅 Looking forward to your visit in July. Grazie mille for your kind words and support. Can't wait to share more delicious recipes with you! 😊🍝
The first time i tried true italian/european pizza, I was at epcot in Disney orlando. Best pizza I've ever had. I can sort of recreate it at home. But my oven maxes out at 600f. And definitely not burning wood in it. Lol. I can get it close, just not 100% authentic. Hope everyone is taking care.
Hey! That's amazing, I'm so glad you enjoyed the pizza at Epcot! 🔥🍕 It's definitely tough to recreate it perfectly at home, but I'm happy to hear you're getting close! Keep experimenting and have fun in the kitchen! 😊
That sounds absolutely delicious! 🤤 I'm glad you enjoyed the porchetta and artichoke panino from the pochetteria. It's a mouthwatering combination. Keep exploring and savoring those incredible flavors! 🇮🇹🥪
Il mio street food preferito a Roma è il “Polpo al Cuore”: polpo croccante, lattuga iceberg, ‘nduja di maiale nero, guacamole e miele con bergamotto di Reggio Calabria. Il migliore è in Via Flaminia.
I have a whole blog of the places that I mentioned in my website, you can check it out by clicking the link below. Enjoy! www.vincenzosplate.com/best-street-food-in-rome/
@@vincenzosplate Grazie, amore! Just arrived two hours ago. Unfortunately on a Monday a few spots are close. Especially maritozzo rosso. Thanks anyway! Baci!
I want to take my Filipino GF to Rome one day. This is a great video to convince her!! LOL If Vincenzo keeps going like this, a year from now he will do another food video. And they have to carry him in a truck. Because he ate tons of food hahaha 🤣
Haha, that's a funny comment! Rome is amazing, your girlfriend will love it 🇮🇹🥰 And don't worry, I'll make sure to stay away from too many carbs 😜 Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your comment! 😊 Anchovies are definitely a must-try! Stracciatella is a fresh Italian cheese, you'll love it! And don't worry, no torture sessions involved in my cooking! 😂
