I sat and watched this with a big smile on my face, thoroughly enjoyable. I rarely wish I could be anywhere else, but today I wanted to be in Rome with you talking about food.
Hi William, what a nice comment. Thank you so much for watching and sharing. Rome is an amazing city and I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. More videos and travel coming very soon! 😀
Fantastic job my friend. All that food looks sooo good. And the architecture is stunning. I have been and will be returning to amazing Roma. Viva Italia !!
Hi Jim! Thank you, really appreciate the comment and for watching. More videos coming soon, next up, Amalfi Coast. The food in Roma was awesome! Cheers from Denver! 😀
Dear Mark, my grandparents were born in Italy too, and when I see you tasting all those flavors I feel like you! We are part of this great culture . you are adorable.
I just discovered your Chanel and I love your attitude. Thank you for not dragging out your tastings. Also, thank you for sharing Carciofi alla Giudia. Most of these videos don't mention it for whatever reason. You are refreshing to watch. Good luck on your travels.
This Channel should have way more subscribers, its a real gem, I'm watching your videos during Covid counting the days to when we can all travel again. 2022 hopefully England and Paris, 2023 hopefully Rome and Amalfi coast
Man I'm from Rome, i loved this video! This city it's too big to be described in just few minutes but your video did very good showing the feel you get just by walking and eating something down the street.. I didn't know your channel, it's amazing, just subscribed.
Great video. I too had an Italian Grandfather and German Grandmother, and I can still remember the food as a kid. Me and my wife are taking our first trip to Rome and Florence this summer....looking forward to many things, but the food is definitely on the top of that list.
The reason I like your vids so much is that you enjoy so many of the same things I do in a city or seaside. I like to visit the major architecture and museums also. I took a Jewish food tour and went back 3 times on my last trip. The food was great
You understood me well and i m satisfied for that.Your clips are very good and i ll tell you why.......your appetite is contagious, you are not static or boring and make the viewer to feel the flavors and atmosphere.....so ,you are in the right place.
Hi there Antonella!!! Thank you SO much for sharing that and for watching! I LOVE our Italian heritage, getting in touch with my roots, and sharing the journey with everyone. Love from Denver to you, your mom, dad and sister! ❤️🇮🇹🤗
Thank you very much. you took me back to where i used to leave and where I left my heart in Rome . I loved it I felt i was walking in Piazza Spagna and Il Centro Storico , Piazza Campo Di Foire again. Well done. 👍😀 and very nice video quality, what camera was that?
I am a Brazilian priest, I am studying Italian, I hope to one day go to Italy, God willing; but I intend to be more in the Catholic religious places. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
Lael Vieira thank you so much for watching and for commenting. I wish you a great visit to Italy whenever you go and you will truly enjoy all of the religious places and history!
Ciao Padre!
Amazing video you have definitely inspired me to travel around Italy. I also have Italian roots and have longed to go back and visit extended family. The food the culture the warmth and friendliness is the best no other country in my opinion can compare. Viva Italia
Coming from chicago that grew up on great Italian food I went to Rome last week for 5 days. I tried this restaurant the first night we was there and I ended up going back 2 more times before I left because the food was amazing. I tried other restaurants and they was good but nothing like this restaurant. Order the truffle gnocchi like this video plus make sure order the roast veal shank. It’s amazing.
Ok, thank you for sharing Ristorante al34!!! I went here last night and honest to god, it was the best meal of my life!!!!! We had the fried squash blossoms, the lasagna and the meatballs. Everything was absolute perfection and the lasagna was the best of my life!!! This place is so cute and the service was amazing!! Thank you for sharing!!!!!😘🙌🏻🍾
I’m visiting Rome, Florence, and Venice over a 2 week period at the end of August. This video is a perfect prep for my time in Rome. Fabulously presented. Thank you so so very much. This is going in my library.
Thanks for this wonderful video, our capital is full of history, it has a wonderful light, it is an open-air museum, not to mention the exceptional food. An exciting European capital to live!
Alberto Albertoni hi Alberto! Yes, Rome is incredible and totally and open-air museum, the food, people, history and architecture are amazing! Thanks so much for watching and commenting on the video. Naples and the Amalfi Coast come out next on our channel.
Buongiorno! I was here many times, not Italian, I am Catholic though. Love the history. I enjoyed myself immensely and have total respect for the Italian people ❤ even crossing the highway was nothing like a Chicago city. Every car would stop and wave hello. I would definitely go back there again ,it's on my bucket list. 😘
Thank you for such an incredible video! I am headed to Rome in one week and I'm super excited to try some of the places you've suggested! I was delighted to see that AL 34 is very close to my hotel! ❤ Thanks again!!
I love mortadella! My Sicilian partner not so much as he had it every day for school lunches. I ate it everywhere when we were in Rome. He shuddered every time. lol.
I loved your video! I'm sorry that l didn't have the opportunity to view it before my trip to Rome! You are so sincere and amiable and it's easy to trust all of your suggestions! I'm a new subscriber! I'm in Kansas City, can't wait to see more of your videos! 😃🍀🎉🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I'm in ecstasy just looking at the food you ate. That's worth the flight going over all by itself. This is the first video I've seen of Rome that really makes me want to go. I'll have to see if Eataly in Vegas has some of these foods. Or I might just have fly over to get them. Thanks for a great video Mark.
Daniel Clooney thanks so much for sharing this!!! The food is amazing there! Check out part 2 of this video to see some incredible pasta at Felice a Testaccio!!!! You’ll for sure book a flight lol. Cheers from Denver! 😁
Debra L Adams that is fantastic! Thank you for watching and commenting. When you’re there, ask for Guilermo or Nicola and please tell them I said hello! Enjoy Roma, awesome city!
Just perfect and exactly what i wanted to try for my next trip to Rome in July. I'm staying around the corner of Campo dei Fiori so the beginning was the best for me! Thank you
Hi Anita, thank you so much for subscribing and for saying this! I love what I do and I hope it is reflected in the video. The channel will get there! Takes a village, right?! 😉
Great job Euro Trotter! Folks, Mark Felice does it all. Scenery, history, tours and most of all the food. Where to go, how to get there and what to enjoy during your stay, he leaves nothing to a surprise , unless of course, that's what you're looking for. Look forward to future "Trotter" tours.
Hi S W, thanks so much for subscribing! And thank you for watching and commenting. The artichoke was so good! More videos coming soon! Heading to Europe end of July for a 30 day summer travel vlog! Can't wait! 😀
Dear Mark! We watched many videos on your channel and downloaded your Rome city guide. We absolutely loved all your tips and went to “Al 34” twice for dinner. It was fabulous! Keep up the great work, your videos are really inspiring! 🍝🥂💝🤩😘
Hey it would be really helpful if you listed in the description the restaurants and places to eat you visited! Sometimes it’s hard to catch the spelling of it’s not obvious in the pronunciation for us non-Italians
Wow it’s just wow. I love Italy 🇮🇹 will be there next year. Your a good story teller. First time watching your video. Instant subscriber and Instagram follower too. Your video is very helpful. Details, stories and all. I’m inlove with prosciutto and tiramisu cake. Greetings from Tokyo 🇯🇵
I have been to Rome. It's a nice city, very chaotic in terms of traffic. Lots to see and do. The biggest highlight for me was seeing the Trevi Fountain, which is just majestic. I also enjoyed visiting the Colosseum, the Roman amphitheater built by Emperor Vespasian (r. 69-79 A.D.) and completed by his son, Emperor Titus (r. 79-81A.D.). Must visit the Pantheon, Sistine Chapel, st. Peters basilica, Roman Forum ruins.
You’re an amazing person!!! Love the way you speak through your videos. So much passion and respect for everyone and everything. Thank you for sharing this beautiful places!🔆🤗🤗🔆
You explain so well everything! You are very different than the other vlogers and so many wonderful ways. You are very classy and fabulous!! Sorry I’m bothering you so much 😊 it’s so refreshing to see and hear someone very unique!
lol... “no key” pasta. Gotta love RU-vid subtitles. The gnocchi sure looked good. But it’s the Carciofi Alla Judea artichokes that did me in. Your descriptions of the food are very effective. I'm still salivating over all the dishes. Thanks for a peek at Italy's delectable delights.
Thank you for coming to my home... Rome! Next time you come give me a shout and I'll take you to some other places where you can taste things you didn't have during this trip. :)
¡Muchas gracias por tu comentario y por ver el video! Amo el país, la gente y la comida, absolutamente increíble. Espero que disfruten el resto de nuestros videos de viajes, ¡muy pronto más! :)
We are working on it thanks to supporters like you :) Thank you so much for watching and commenting on the video!!! Appreciate your support of the channel, more to come very soon!
Great thumbnail , Mark is such a stud , so likeable & even male Hetty’s love his hutzpah energy , epitomises the first rule of sales ‘sell yourself first’ must have devoured Dale’s Carnegie’s book at some stage.
i like what i have seen of your videos so far...especially the Amalfi Coast video. The al 34 is a typical Roman tourist trap. When i'm in rome i stay right around the corner from that restaurant and i tell you the food there is bad..there are better local places around the Spanish Steps..trust me i've tried to like that place., but keep up the good work.. Try Hostaria al 31 around the corner on Carrozze.
TD Moore hey there thank you so much! Appreciate the comment and for watching! I actually LOVE the food at Al 34 lol, that Roman Gnocchi is sooo good!!! Will definitely check out your recommendation next time in Roma! 😁🙌🏻🇮🇹
I just come here to just say eat everything you got there it’s the most delicious food in the world starting from small village to any known restaurant
Thanks! Amalfi Coast should be out this weekend! Then onto Berlin and Amsterdam...and then my 30 day vlog starting on July 29...I'll be hopping through the Mediterranean on a food tour, etc. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😃🙌🏼
Hi there! So glad you like it! Thanks for watching and for commenting! Have a great trip in Rome! By the way, I have a 2nd video on Rome in case you haven't seen it, it's called Rome Food Tour and you'll see my FAVORITE restaurant for Cacio e pepe, which is incredible. The restaurant is called Felice, like my last name, and is in the local neighborhood of Testaccio. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HA05YMg2M_A.html
Nice! It's going to be HOT and crowded... for your next visit I would suggest may/june or sept/oct (at least for Roma region). I'm living in Rome for the month of May (right now!) on Via Leccosa and the weather is cool - great for walking all over the city. This is my 3rd stay in Rome and we're getting to see so much more on this trip, so very happy! Some other eats in Rome that will not disappoint: - Ristorante la Campana - Ristorante Alfredo alla Scrofa - Matricianella - Pietro al Pantheon - Casa Bleve Sooooo many others, but these are great spots (AL 34 as mentioned in this video is also excellent!) Grazie!
This video is so helpful! We're planning our trip & are so over youtube videos that show scenery without any context or advice. This is great (and made us so hungry!!|).
