I honestly feel because the playline Rainbow High dolls are such high quality pieces, it makes it really hard for them to make their limited edition ones stand out and justify the higher price point. We know that MGA can do a lot with a fairly low price point attached, so why does a doll like Roxie Grand cost more with few outfits and accessories. Whereas with Mattel, their dolls typically use lesser quality fabrics and more printed on details. So, when they release limited edition dolls such as Haunt Couture Monster High, I feel you can actually see what the extra money went towards. I know it can come down to details such as what types of crystals were used, if there were real metal pieces used, etc. However, it still feels like you're getting less but paying more
This was just double the $35.99 USD price approximately to get eyelashes, clothing accessories expensive to make plus a pet and cellphone accessory (quality in clothes and accessories keeping up with the times of inflation). Maybe she'll find another at 40-50 percent off next year (or not). That'll probably give her that second pair with boots.

Wow! What an amazing find! I am just starting to collect Rainbow High and I'm already obsessed. I don't think I could pay $100 for Paris but she is still very beautiful. I found Daphne Minton on clearance at Walmart for $15 the other day and I was so excited😊
It's so funny how in a video a few days ago you were like "I don't really like celebrity dolls" and then a few days later, a Paris Hilton Rainbow High doll practically falls into your lap! The doll universe heard you and is trying to change your mind.
When I say I don’t like celebrity dolls I specifically mean those in their likeness. This is just like any other rainbow high doll. This is also why I don’t mind the Lindsay Lohan My Scene or any of the OMG dolls

I guess the boots is one of the reasons it was returned and marked down. She's pricey but I'd rather pay full price for her than full price for Roxie Grand. At least Paris comes with more stuff. Good on you for not returning an opened and reviewed doll, unlike some other youtubers.

Randomly enough I found two Paris Hilton dolls at my walmart (while searching for the ghoul spirit 6 pack for $49) and they had the $99 price tag on the shelf. I wish I had asked if I could get a discount because one of them had a ripped box art but I might go back.
you only would've gotten 10% unfortunately. My sister found a complete minecraft lego set with the top of the box ripped open and the best they could give was 10% :( We put it back because it was $100.
So, everyone who has reviewed her has had those little pearls falling off all over the place. I thi k it's a case of the glue not being able to properly adhere to the stretchy pleather. However, she is absolutely darling and like her a lot. I would never pay $100 for her. Although I wouldn't pay that much for any doll in general because I'd rather pay 20 - 40 and get multiple dolls.
i feel like the boots should've been embroidered with metallic thread rather than have rhinestones glued on, it could achieve a similar effect if done well
Surprised u got her in store and on clearance! I have never dishes more than $70 on toys and that was the rainbow high house! Only item I spent that much on. I actually bought her full price when she was released with no picture or name. I knew it was her I freaking LOVE paris. She’s a fashion icon queen, activist. I just love her, love her looks. Stunning. Her and Britney are top queens in my book. They both love dolls and doll collecting too. If they collaborated with Britney, would be a dream come true! lol 😂
I honestly really like this doll, even though I don’t really follow Paris Hilton. If I find it on clearance some day I’ll pick it up, otherwise, as expensive as it is, I’ll have to pass.
So.. She was cvp'd. That means a manager got her in (most likely an online return). Anyway she isn't on Mod so they want rid of her. So they put her on the store version of clearance with a new UPC so they can get rid of her. CVP is a always a big label that covers the original UPC.
Someone posted a picture of a Paris Hilton doll on the shelf in store. Except it had a Delilah doll in there with ugly outfit. Obviously staff didn't realise wrong doll was in there when accepting the return. I hope a poor unsuspecting person doesn't buy it
No such cheap pricing even on clearance at Walmarts in California. Full price for everything here. Must be an Eastern and Southern states deal. We are gouged for everything out here.

Her hand in the camera should continue the hand, that holding a phone (try it). And than in photogallary photo will be automatically mirorred

Since rainbow high is based off of poopsie I think it was a missed opportunity to make the pet look like those poopsie critter pet things that came inside a poop with mystery slime if you know what I mean 😅
I actually think RH makes sense for her bag still tbh mostly because PCH is still a branch of rainbow high even tho they act like they aren’t they are their sister school . It’s like circus baby pizza the sister location to Freddy fazbear pizza line :)

Just found 2 today (2-7-2023) at my Walmart on Clearance! $55.60 I bought one with a nice box...the second one had the square missing on the front like yours. WHAT!! I was so surprised to see them in the Clearance section too at my Walmart. I wasn't planning on getting her either....thanks Walmart however you got ahold of these!
I wish I found one so cheap here… but the cheapest one I could see was 95€ which I can‘t afford. 😭 And it was already a used one, I saw new ones here for over 100€. 😨 But I think she is incredibly beautiful, so I‘ll wait until I see one used but complete and with all the stuff she comes with for cheap. 💞

i would glue down the remaining pearls and replace the missing ones with little dots of white paint. ive never seen these shoes in person though so maybe itsnot feasible
I don’t know how Walmart handles their online returns but as someone who works at target i’m surprised they even put her on the shelf since when we get returns for online items they will usually tell us to defect it out no matter what. This mostly to save up space for things we need to push from the back which is why a lot of things from discount stores that come from target will have the label on the box DEFSALV defective/salvage. We can do it for a number of reasons but it’s mostly packaging errors and a lot of stuff we salvage isn’t even actually broken or damaged itself it’s just something we don’t see selling on our shelves. sometimes it coukd also be something we just don’t sell anymore and obviously is something is genuinely damaged. i’ve worked at target for about a year so i’ve seen alot of stuff get salvaged and it’s always surprising what we get rid of when there is nothing wrong with it 😭

I'm pretty sure Lily Cheng was $75-80 US. At least that's what she is on Amazon now (with Amazon as the vendor). Still, that's better value than the Paris doll for sure, especially since I didn't see many, if any, reports of defects.
Yes, if ordered online walmart is not allowed to resell her at her original price so they mark her price down. Like when I got lucky to have found Rainbow High 6pk Dolls for only $20!! Someone had returned 6 of those pks of six. Got excited too but only took 2 😉
Honestly except for the extra accessories she doesn't look any fancier than a S4 doll to me. Way too expensive. That said, I do like her more than I was expecting to.
From what I've heard they normally tell you to return the doll if they decide you're just being picky. They also may not deem my receipt as an acceptable form of purchasing as it just says "site merch" on it instead of "Paris Hilton Rainbow High doll". I'll be trying but I'm not holding my breath this time
@@xCanadensis I tried to file a claim on a defective articulated Coastal Q.T. I had found at my old local family dollar where her arm was so loose that it could fall off any second and they told me " we don't keep extras of those at our factories so you'll have to exchange it at family dollar" and that really upset me because not everyone is going to be to get a brand new doll of the same defective one they bought
After growing up in the early 00's this feels so surreal. She was *such* a controversial figure at the height of her popularity I just know if this doll came out back then parents and news outlets would have completely lost their minds the moment she was announced (while completely ignoring she's $100 and meant for adult collectors). Hearing her being called an "influencer" when she predates the term feels a bit strange too. It's not a bad thing, its just sort of funny to think about. I can't help but wonder what the gen z fans thought about this doll when it was announced - unless she's recently had a resurgence in popularity that I completely missed I can't imagine many younger fans knowing much about her at all. This is cool though, especially knowing now that she's a doll collector herself.
