People here quick to point out, and rightly so, tht Tigoni is not in Nairobi but Kiambu, but many Kenyans have no apologies believing Diani or Watamu are in Mombasa, in fact most refer the entire Coast as Mombasa

Western Kenya has the most beautiful and well kept villages in Kenya followed by Kangema Murang'a, Meru, Nyeri Siaya and Homabay. Kiambu is a disaster with no single village left.
There is also a village in tigoni you will meet elderly pple who are over 100+ due to its environmental everything is organic n very clean, no drunkards

Tigoni is a rich suburb in Kiambu County where White colonial government before our independence had grabbed from the locals. The Whites selected cooler places in Kenya. Our country has many, many beautiful places to visit. Our guides are from Western Kenya that's why its there first time. Kenya is big..

I know for Nigerian richness mean big mansions, flash cars etc ...we are very different culture wise. I get alot of Nigerian friends. Imagine inside you, in your head u r think what kind thing noww ....Kenya we conserve the environment alot ...........take him to Nyeri, mukurweni...muranga...kiambu etc. The whites were missionaries....that your tour guide i no know whether he don't finish school ooohhhh .most of this white were missionaries. You can go to Nyeri mathari etc belong to catholics, Kijabe etc ...
Not true there were many white settlers too ,especially around that area all the way to the vast Rift valley. Their remnants can still be found around Nanyuki

Tigoni is not in Nairobi but in Kiambu County and neighbours Limuru. As a Kenyan living in England, I find Tigoni resembling Yorkshire in rural England.
