@@tinyllama6782 TLDR: I like Slaking, but that seems too powerful for playthroughs, which is my main criteria for choices. While I do like Slaking - I started Pokémon with Sapphire, so I have Hoenn bias - I don't think doing so would be reasonable for most playthroughs, which is what I based my choices on since I'm not a competetive battler. Tinkaton doesn't have all that high of an Attack stat so Pure Power/Huge Power is fine especially if done as the Hidden Ability, Drought is mainly picked as a good ability that also fits Volcarona's lore, Adaptability seems like something that Metagross could reasonably have and would be a better Hidden Ability than Light Metal, Speed Boost on the Mega would counter the Speed stat loss and isn't all too bad given that 1: we have a fair few Pokémon that could still beat Mega Garchomp and 2: Megas aren't in the game anymore. Huge Power on Slaking would be extremely overpowered to the point of not being fun - in my opinion at least - since it already has stats equivalent to Legendaries. I'm fine with it havung Truant because it both fits the origin/concept that Slaking has and works well in terms of game balance. Given how early you can get a member of the Slaking line in some games, it just wouldn't be viable for any official game. Note the "official" in that, since most people who play a fangame or rom hack are people who have played Pokémon for a long times so I find it perfectly fine in said fan-made media. Regigigas, a Pokémon with a similar ability situation to Slaking, needs something better than the official Slow Start but I hadn't listed it since 1: it isn't all that high on my favorites list and 2: it doesn't get used often in playthroughs since it's a Legendary. I'd personally change Slow Start to only have the reduction effect last 3 turns and then give the equivalent of a +1 in both Attack and Speed for 1 turn. Went slightly off topic at the end, but whatever.

I know mega Pokémon will never come back but Mega Gallade w/ Sharpness would be cool.

It would be so good! I think Noivern is already a pretty solid dragon, but if it had anyway to increase it's special attack it could be busted.

@@invividcolor if you also put toxtricity’s special ability that boots any sound based attack by 50% (I believe it’s by that amount I may be wrong but it’s something like that) along with the choice specs, along with Tera normal and boomburst. The only 2 checks it will have is Pokémon with soundproof and ghost types but still it is cracked with that strat too

Haha, I mean I figured it out, but I never found a marvel scale or whatever the item is. I thought it was triggered by beauty like in gen 3, but since I randomized things that did not work. I just shorthanded all that for the script

@@invividcolor As long as you didn't randomize that to it is; you have to max out or near so beauty via poffins/poke blocks/the Gen 3 poke treat stuff.
