The people who whined about Tim Allen not voicing Buzz Lightyear baffle me. This story is clearly not about the toy but about the *real life* person on which the toy was based (real life in the fictional world it's set). It would make no sense to have the voice of the toy be the voice of the real person the toy was based on. People just like to complain. This movie was a lot of fun.
I thought the same, and Chris Evans did an excellent job carrying the Buzz legacy and his voice sounded really natural in the role as what human Buzz would sound like
People were also complaining and crying about the whole brief 2-second gay LGBTQ+ bit in the movie, as well. I mean, it’s just one or two seconds! Even the movie knows that it’s not the main focus of the film! It’s about Buzz’s character development on acceptance of help from the people he has worked with his whole 66 years of his life, granted in one day due to time travel, but that’s about it! People on the internet need to grow up!
@@G.S.Productions those kinds of people want to pretend like gay people don’t exist and so they shouldn’t have any representation in the media. If media influences sexual orientation, why do gay people even exist because prior to recent history, gay people were nowhere to be found in any media, so that should mean everyone was influenced to be straight, right. These people don’t have brains, I swear
ahahaha loved how you called out the gay kiss being unfairly judged! seriously people, it wasn't that big of a deal, I don't know why everyone was freaking out about that
The crap spread about this film, by critics as well, has been untrue. I honestly wonder if they saw the same movie as me. Yet, like a bunch of sheeple, they all joined in rubbishing it. Sure, it's not perfect.... that plotline of Zurg was really older Buzz who split off into his own timeline somehow was a pretty big pot hole and not fully explained. However, it didn't distract from the enjoyment of the movie at all. It's a fine little movie, actually.... and very entertaining.
#FilmFreakBecky, you're so sweet. Thank you so much for uploading this awesome movie reaction. Your content is just so cool, and I love watching you react to different movies.
The time travel sorta makes sense, think of it like this, Zurg Buzz, was the first one, he successfully went to light speed, then when he got back he almost got arrested, so he escaped, went forward in time, found the Zurg ship, became Zurg, then went back in time to where the Buzz we know landed after successfully reaching light speed, and now Buzz doesn't almost get arrested, rather now he's dealing with himself, Zurg created another timeline by going back in time, now there's two.
In other words, Buzz successfully completing light speed is what created Zurg and the robot invasion. If he didn't go, he wouldn't have been arrested and he would've just lived a normal life, with no threat of invasion at all
this movie was so good. chris evans embodied the REAL buzz lightyear so well. i get andy's obsession with buzz now. imagine being andy getting a toy hoping it's chris evans' voice that comes out of it, only to get an old grumpy voice lol.
This movie recieved mostly positive reviews by Critics, but was a bomb at the box office, making $220 million dollars against a $200 million dollar budget. It got banned in over 20 countries worldwide due to the lesbian kissing scene in the movie.
Sox looks identical to the orange cat in Alien named Jonesy. There's even a fan theory that Jonesy may be a robot cat. Sox is my favorite thing about this movie too.
