I FOUND THIS INSANE SCORE DUMPSTER DIVING!!! (THEY TRIED TO HIDE THIS!)

I’m sure the animal shelters would be glad to have the blankets. And rugs

It gets said all the time, I know, but it just breaks my heart that instead of these corporations giving to the needy (especially the shoes, coats, blankets, kids toys and food) they just slash and spray paint these items and they go in to a dumpster then in to a landfill. Dumpster divers are actually great for the environment 💛💛💛

It’s so painful to see all the stuff they throw away. But honestly food and books is what hurts the most. They really could give those to people and animals that need them

I can’t believe how wasteful these stores are they should be ashamed of themselves thank you so much for all you do God bless you 😀

What time do you usually go dumpster diving? I've always wanted to give it a shot... but nervous about it.

Wow that’s sad seeing all those books in the dumpster.

Please check the expiration dates on pet foods and treats! I worked at those stores and we only threw out foods that were expired or recalled. And also due to them being a return. Things that are a return will usually have a receipt attached, but not always. And lots of times it's because they're broken or missing parts. Oh, and WATCH OUT for animal poop in PetSmart or any pet store dumpster! Not trying to be funny or a know it all. I'm just trying to be helpful since I worked at all of those places. And I also have other comments about the makeup and beauty products too. Just trying to let you and others know, you need to be careful.

I used to work at Half Price Books. One dumpster is for recycle the other is trash. They do toss A LOT out. They could always donate more to charities, libraries, and schools. But it’s only on occasion, and with documentation. Definitely not the most ECO friendly company.

Bed, bath and Beyond will never see me again and neither will TJMax

Nice Finds, glad you were able to rehab some of them. They Sprayed the sheets but not the pillow Cases, which you could have taken. ~ Do you think you could find somone who can use the Fabric that is between the painted spots to make quilt covers for Blankets, etc????

Its funny ive found things in the store broken but ive loved it and offered to buy it for a little less. They say "no we cant sell it broken". So instead of me paying a little for it and taking it home to fix it myself they throw it in the garbage.

Good job, I learned to do the out big stuff garbage with my Mum, it was funny, everybody was in the streets, looking for something, once per month. My Dad had a hidden deal with some unknown neighbors, they let their magazines, so my Dad took what he wanted and bringed for sharing, he never saw the people 🤣🤣...

Im in the Uk and always get so jealous of these videos lol! Would love to see what you do with everything. Id imagine a fair bit gets repurposed/gifted/donated

How do you get spray paint out of blankets?

Great finds!! I take the spray painted blankets, pillows, socks, underwear, shoes & food that pantries won't accept to an area where there is a homeless camp and give it to the people living there. They appreciate it more than you know & tell me it makes them feel human again to know that someone cares. 💖

you can take some paints and marker off with alcohol and oils can be removed by boiling in water!

The companies should give these things to needy people instead of throwing them

There is a way to remove the spray paint off the fabric

try paint thinner or nail polish remover on the spray painted cloth items! I think you'd be surprised how much you can get out! :)

So the pillow and the sheets and all that stuff that was spray painting you didn’t keep those try to wash it?

I always take stuff like that blankets etc if you can’t clean them homeless and animals shelters will take is always better to take them for good measure

The UV nail dryer only cures gel polish and top coat..takes about 60 seconds.
