For clothing, why don't stores remove the inside tag and cut up hanging tags so not to be returned to the store before donating to shelters? Most will pick up AND the store gets FULL RETSIL VALUE CREDIT on tax returns. Seriously. I get so upset at the amount of waste. Some shelters mail unused clothing to Africa where everything is used.
I just found $150 worth of kids chalk today at Dollar general dumpster!!!!all in boxes.. crazy 🤪 one man's loss is another man's come up I guess 🤷♀️🤦♀️🤣

Bro seeing all of this going to waste is melting my heart. This is so sad! It’s not that hard to give to the poor! Some people can’t afford it and go dumpster diving and look through and realize that they have made everything disgusting and sliced all the clothing.

just looking at all those ripped clothing I wonder if a person can "strip" them to make enough "strings" to make rugs and mats. Shame to have all that fabric go to the landfill.
It's legal here to dumpster dive in Illinois. I would like to do this, but feel like it would be a pain of a process. Checking everything to make sure it's not damaged, then making possibly a few trips to Goodwill for everything to be donated. My parents wouldn't be happy with me for bringing stuff home to check if it's able to be donated, and the fact it came out of the dumpster. Checking the stuff would have to b's done outside.
I believe she has been caught by employees but as dumpster diving is not illegal where she is they cant do much unless she breaks into an area to reach the dumpster
All those clothes could be donated to homeless shelters and dv safe houses. What is wrong with these companies that would destroy so much that could help so many???????
Hi. It’s really A HUGE WASTE !! I would of used the clothes like fabric because I have taken dumpster diving waste and washed it and reused it by cutting up strips of fabric to use in wreaths and garlands. ❤ I’ve also reused some things in my closet for a July 4 th garland. Repurpose. Awesome 👏 ❤ Make Up !!! Yay 😀 Absolutely AMAZING Make up things!! ❤Your so lucky 🍀 they don’t cut the cords on the hair tools. Great 👍 gourmet food !! Awesome 👏 on the iron .
To think someone got paid to sit there and destroy items that could have been donated🤦🏻♀️ On the flip side, I'd always be late on my route if I drove the dump truck because as soon as I got to these stores I'd be like let me see what I can find first 😄
Girl those jack and sally Halloween decorations go for a lot of money and are always sold out where I live if I were you I would’ve grabbed them all and sold whatever was left that I didn’t need of those but sold it for cheap
