This is honestly a level of charm that is always fun to see. It is like the indie projects that you see coming from or adjacent to Nollywood. He really does seem to have some skill, and I think that if he were to have access to the right tools and help like bigger artists do, he would actually be able to create some impressive music. It is hard to tell though, but his work is pretty fun nonetheless.

I wonder if the influence of South Asian classical and folk music is one of the reasons why his music sounds so surreal. He'll have a happy song but do it in a key that sounds really tense or wonky by Western standards. Even though his stuff is unpolished and weird, that's part of the fun of it. I'll have to earnestly check out this guy's work.
