They literally had so many women who didn't like the candles either. Nobody went off on them, plus you you supported by dropping your coins THAT YOU WORKED for on her line. She got her money so at the end of the day its still support.
People don't understand, it's a scent. Not everyone is gonna like them. I hated this collection and I got my stuff super late. I'm not buying from them again. They left a sour taste in my mouth.

Their a small business its not a whole corporation yet, so it took time getting them all out. Honestly, I'm glad you were honest about your opinion because the first set i wasn't feeling either and no shade to Jackie - it is what it is. In addition, those candles are not cheap and I am glad she came out with a more affordable set that isn't all "sweet."
There’s a lot of people saying they didn’t like the candles big deal! Jackie is ok with that I’m sure, because there’s a lot of people who do. She’s made tons of videos of things she doesn’t like! People are a trip! This is how people end up in cults when they take their thinking caps off and just become infatuated with someone and whatever they do it’s ok! If you don’t like it you just don’t. As for me, I’m not buying a candle for $30 I don’t care whose selling it! I love Jackie too but it’s a NO for me! When she has a super sale maybe.
I’m with you. Definitely not buying an expensive candle cause scent is very subjective and I already know what scented candle I like and tend to stick with them. PLUS I live in the UK. Imagine how pissed you would be buying a scent online, waiting a long ass time to reach your country and then not like it. NOPE!!!
I’m glad you came out with your initial review since these are luxury candles ONLINE! I hate the caked up one and not everything is for everyone. You were open, honest and respectful so it was very much appreciated. Some people are always ready to jump and tear you down, it sucks.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the ridiculously slow shipping times. I ordered mine November 12 and after bugging them 3 times, they finally sent my candles today (dec 20). Still excited for them but annoyed by how long it took

Girl you didn't like the other collection and thats okay!!! Scents are very personal. Everyone has their own preferences. Any REAL Jackie supporter would never get mad about your personal preferences because thats what Jackie is all about.. HONESTY! I didn't even bother purchasing because from reading the notes and watching helpful reviews I knew that that was not the collection for me. I dont enjoy sweet scents either. Now Grown Folks Business is right up my alley!!! I will be grabbing that!

I just ordered this collection and the Holiday Collection! So excited! And yes there is a mini version of the holiday one. And in her live last night, Jackie said she’s gonna start doing mini versions of all her candles now
You are spot on! I am a Jackie stannnnnn and I wasn’t all that a fan of the first collection. For Jackie to charge as much or more than other candles, it wasn’t up to that standard! Your honesty was the truth! I’m still a Jackie stan even though I don’t like every she makes. That’s it.

I’ve purchased from BBW and I didn’t like every one they released. So we can give grace to the ones we don’t like. We don’t have to LIVE for every launch from our faves. It’s also nice that you supported this launch too.

The candles are like perfume. When you burn FORVR Mood candles the top notes are only noticeable when it’s not lit. The heart and the base is what you smell when you burn. I currently have the You Up? & Gingerbread Traphouse, and the top notes I hate, but I love the spicy fall scents that it gives when you burn them. Usually when you blow out candles (I know you shouldn’t but they don’t come with lids) you don’t get that burning smell afterwards and I love it.
We did the EXACT same thing. I bought the minis. LOVED grown folks business and skinny dipped the most and bought the full size. Shipping takes quite a while, but they are finally on the way after three weeks.
I watched your entire review and it was not bashful at all. Honestly everyone has their own preference in scents. They ask for transparency and get mad when they get it. I like light floral, warm, and fruity smells but not too overpowering. If it’s overpowering I will get a headache or stuffy! It has to be subtle. I have been eyeing these minis though. The color just grabs my attention

Thank you for you honest review. I didn’t like some of the candles but I’m just starting to burn them so I’m still on the fence. I purchased 3 of them and will surely buy more the burn time is great but I don’t like the way the wick mushrooms so splayed. I’m still looking to try other scents.

I watched your other review and you was very descriptive in it, very well said and it was YOUR OPINION Lets remember that part first it was a review. It was jackie first set so maybe she had her orefrences on there and you wasnt feeling it and thats okay. That was her first set and maybe she was just getting a feel of opinions. Just because it "black owned" dont mean it has to be as expensive as they was cause them candles are high priced for one. I haven’t burned my send moods yet but I will soon. I have caked up and cuffing season from the first collection. I’ve only burned cuffing season and I Iike it. I’m excited for the holiday sets too. I got both the sets and the mini set for free

So what’s funny is: I wasn’t really feeling the mood scents, but I did like the Matcha Business from the Core collection. I’m weird like that though....but I do think once they begin to burn, the smells start to really change.
Listen! I was thinking the same thing and it’s kind of rare on RU-vid as well. That’s also how you can tell she is being genuine about her opinion. I loved how she talked about the layers, initial scent impression, then also how it smelled when it burns.
I didn’t buy the first collection because I don’t like my candles too sweet smelling (I like earthy smells with a hint of sweet). I love the packaging of this collection which made me want to buy!
