The naked gnome in the corner watching them woohoo was just the icing on the cake 😂 I love your experiments but I do miss hearing you say “just a little kiss”, please bring it back 🙏🏻
I use the Observant trait a lot because it's very useful, especially in the detective career however, if you knew the sim before getting the trait you won't know all of their traits, it works only on the first introduction
Love the "Incredibly Friendly" trait. I unlock that on basically every Sim I play - it's just so handy to get such a boost to relationships like that. It saves so much pointless back-and-forth, which in turn saves so much time!
I have a super sim save and she has absolutely ALL the store traits. She is basically a god. Only SOMETIMES does her fun go down to yellow. But then I just have her go do a skill shes mastered that she likes for quick fun. She hasn't slept in millennia.
Sacred candles are used to get rid of a sim’s fear when it comes to a bad spector that every sim is afraid of. You can use those when you’re doing a job for the paranormal investigator to get rid of the ghosts in another sims home. They’re a god send. Also I happen to find that sims who’s needs go down slower or never at all to be quite boring. There’s a reason I don’t play around with vampires all the time. I like the thrill of whether or not they’re gonna pee themselves 😂😂
Same. I once had a very skilled, very successful Sim, and I gave him the "never needs sleep"-trait... And then immediately regretted it when I realised that I had to keep looking after him and giving him stuff to do every single night, instead of just putting him to bed and hitting fast-forward. It made things very annoying. 😅 He was already top of his career too, so it's not like he needed that time for extra work.
I only have the base game (cheapskate lol) and I use the hell out of the rewards store. Depending on the sim, I'll start with gym rat, always welcome or observant. Mid game, I'm all for steel bladder (especially if I have any mixology involved), seldom sleepy (wonderful for having and raising kids), marketable and/or fertile. Connections is really good, if you play them as children, but it can be really hard to afford it in time to matter, if you start them as an adult. Entrepreneurial is also awesome, if you're playing a career sim. Family sims benefit from mentor. Almost all my sims end up with morning sim and night owl, and some of them end up with savant (again, if I can afford it in time for it to matter)
I have minimal packs, and use zero mods, I have noticed simmers on youtube, who're supposedly pros don't really use these stuff and work with mods a lot to be successful... me beeing poor and stubborn on the other hand, feel proud by noticing people claiming sims4 is boring but just because they don't really try all their gameplay
You also had the night owl trait so they learn quicker at night. I think there is a morning one me too. That’s why some skills seemed quicker as the day went on.
Fun trick about the Money Tree. If you want more, you can get more for free. Wait for the tree to grow fruit, and don't sell it. You can't harvest Money Fruit like you can other harvestables, but if you put it in your household inventory, it will separate the fruit from the tree. Just place them all back on the ground, and plant the fruit. If you do it between 5:30 and 6, you can place the tree back and play in Live Mode for a second until the tree has more fruit, and repeat till you have as much as you want.
i find this amusing because that is how i play all the time... my sims have the biggest trait panel is freaking history.. i also complete all the aspirations for those traits as well lol cheats of course. the fertile trait also doesnt really increase chance of getting pregnant so much as it increases odd of twins and triplets and it works i assure you lmao. i have save files PLAGUED with twins and triplets.
i love ur content sm. I’m going thru a rough patch and watching u makes me smile! (ps if you wanna see the promotion go by quicker click on the suitcase and press work harder)
I use observant (to keep kleptos away), incredibly friendly (so I don't need to spam socials so much) and seldom sleepy (I don't want to never sleep, just half as much) on every single sim I ever play. Then a few others as needed, like gym rat, marketable, etc. Never the potions, though. To me they're absolutely necessary in my gameplay and I work hard to get those points!
Agreed! When I do this, I do it by cheating the aspirations to get the points so I also get the traits from maxed aspirations. Not having jealous spouses and getting interest on household funds makes life so much easier. 😂 Also, the Free Services reward would be great for her to remember in future when she's playing from scratch with limited funds.
You can add a few more traits with the other systems like fame, werewolves and Vampire's. You could go for a super epic challenge one day by going all out.
UI Cheats lets you right click on the traits bar and add every trait in the game, both Cas, reward traits and aspirational traits, I like to use it to add more traits that fits my sim.
I think scouting aptitude from Get together should increase skill gain by 25% if you add it from MC command center. Along with night owl, early bird. You can also increase the skill gain speed, lol idk if you want to do that though
This is like the only way I play I get all my rewards mostly so there needs deplete slower it helps get my skills down faster and I don’t have to worry about my sim needing food shower or a bathroom which is really convenient for University
Oooh. Haven't watched the video yet, but interested to see exactly what each Reward gives you, since I haven't played with them all. I'm currently doing a save where my Sim completes pretty much everything. Complete all Aspirations (that I currently have available with the packs I have), max all Skills (same as Aspirations), and reached the highest level in every Career. Also considering completing every Collection too. Naturally, I have ageing turned off lol, and I've been getting Rewards to help me when I'm able. I started her life from an Infant, she's currently a Teen; I've maxed all of her Toddler Skills, Child Skills, Child Aspirations, Scouts and Drama Club, and I currently have all of her Character Traits all the way positive. It's been . . . an experience, lol. And I have a long way to go. Maybe I should add the challenge from this video too 😅
I'm doing the same currently! My sim has just recently turned Young Adult. I'm collecting all the collections and all the reward traits as well! The traits are useful in doing all the skills and careers, they help to start a career from a higher level, get promotions easier, make it easier to gain skills and make friends, etc etc. I recommend it and you will have enough satisfaction points as well to get them as you're completing all aspirations :)
entrepreneurial is also a bonus trait for the sims that have money aspirations. it would be a bit op for sims all be able to promote so easily just because you picked it first then changed aspirations after
As someone who doesn’t play with mods and doesn’t use cheats often I love these rewards and use them often in game, it was so fun watching you discover them!
Thanks for doing this! I absolutely loved it!!! I want to try it once MCCC is fixed for the update done today... EA broke quite a few of the Mods... I can't wait to see what your next video is ❤❤❤
...she doesn't have the Responsible trait that kids get from the Parenthood pack. With that, and the one from Scouting (easier time gaining skills), as well as the Top Notch Toddler Trait (VERY quick learning), and the Quick Learner Trait that also assists in Skill Building, you'll have a super sim on your hands. Put them in a tiny house and bam, you have an incredibly fast learner.
I do this with my favorite sims 😂😂 makes their daily lives way easier I just don’t give them the NEVER weary or FOREVER full I do the ones that make them decay slower I also give them max fame, give them the more preferable fame quirks so they don’t earn annoying ones, make their lot eco friendly with solar panels and dew collectors on the roof, make them rich, give them a beautiful house, and put their lives on long mode, and if they are already adults I’ll cheat them a degree or two 😅😊 my sims are SPOILED
Oh yes the trait thing sometimes doesn't work when you are already in a conversation with others and you try to introduce yourself to them. Also the instant best friend one, I forget what you get that with, but it's the same.
Question for any1 who can answer.. i give bess $ everytime she hits me up. Is it just a neverending money pit (unless i say no) or does she actually pay me back?
She does occasionally actually give you money back. The phone call is something along the lines of “Business was booming this month! Here’s 50% of the profits!” And it’s like $25,000 I believe
You should have used Free Services! It is very cheap (1100 points, I believe) and an absolute necessity when doing a challenge involving large families and making money outside of work. Messy house? Free maid. Starting a garden? Free gardener. Tired of your kids? Free nanny. Hungry? Free pizza and food delivery. Not even mentioning that you can make BANK from getting free grocery deliveries, doing a bunch of canning, and selling the result. Both of my teen sims quit their jobs to make mayonnaise for two hours a day and were still able to join clubs, do homework, go to hangouts/events, etc. Quit your job, make mayo.
Connections and graduating highschool in the Sims with honors/valedictorian will allow you to start a career at a higher place usually level 3-4. I've seen some Sims go to college and get a degree and start their career at like level 7+ if they graduate with top marks.
This is what I'm doing with my sim right now. She's doing almost all of the aspirations, and has most of the aspiration rewards but I have a ton of points, I have to figure out which couple she doesn't have. She has sooooo freaking many lol.
I downloaded a sim from the library and I noticed she had soooo much points i wonder how they do that. None of the other sims I’ve downloaded came with reward points already. she had like 50k points 😯
*It is also possible for you to receive all of the aspirations' unlocks. by utilising the asperation cheat, and then altering the asperation using CAS till you obtain them all. That's what I've done a couple of times. So having a sim with all the asperation unlocks and everything in the reward store is a little overpowered, especially if you're playing an occult sim with the prospect of immortality and other capabilities.*
Almost all my sims get the Savant Trait, Carefree, and Frugal. And others get other depending on gameplay and obviously based on how many satisfaction points they get (I like gym rate for active sims, observational, great kisser for playboy sims, shameless, entrepreneurial, heat and ice proof).
im planning on getting a "perfect sim" i really want to finish every asperation (that i currently have, i dont have all packs lmao), max every skill, and use the reward store to buy the extra traits, also probably max a lot of jobs.
For tne career thing you can use your phone, call and ask for promotions and will get it everytime, without the trait you can get rejected. And also have to click in the house icon while working and pick the options to work hard to get a promotion, and with the new traits you won't get stressed while at it.
Getting the observant trait is the first thing I do for almost every sim, finding the get to know option hidden in the small talk tree is sooo annoying, and it's such an important thing, I don't get the way EA chooses how to group topics 😅
I loved this video idea... It was awesome u should do a series with her n see how many jobs she could do with it like a super sim along with the skills... N just build her up n see what happens
I'm on console so no mods 4 me. I use these all the time but stay away from the ones that remove ALL need decay...that's no fun. Don't usually get Great Kisser but pretty sure if your Sim is kissed by another with the trait you will get a moodlet. Savant and Observant I always get, Seldom Sleepy too. There's others too but not writing a novel here. Great video Whiny...enjoyed watching👍
Would love to see you play this game with all the traits with all skills maxed out. They'd get to the top of their career or several/all careers in no time. In my gameplays, all my Sims get heat, water and ice proof traits, as well as brave, independent, incredibly friendly, shameless, needs noone, savant, great kisser and connections. I don't use satisfaction points to buy needs based traits. If needs deplete, click on the Sim and you can cheat fill all needs in MCCC. If you are using WWhims, you can adjust your fertility %. For guaranteed pregnancy, adjust the fertility % to 100% for both sims.
With quicker promotions at work, if you click to work harder when your SIM is at work, almost guarantees a promotion every day, especially if you socialise with coworkers on day 1 of career, invite them over after work, max out friendships with them, work hard at work from day 2 onwards and making sure you have enough skills and completed daily tasks. Tried it and got to the top of career after going into work after 5 times (not including days-off).
So question, the pop-up for developing the active trait. Is that a mod, or is it part of a game pack bc that is really interesting and I like that idea but I have no idea what that is.
It’s weird that she entered the career at level 4 I think they can only do that if they went to college. I think k the other sim gets a moodlet from the great kisser actually!
There’s also 3 other skill building traits - night owl, morning owl, and savant. I love using reward store traits, I usually cheat a few aspirations so I get the extra trait bonuses and rewards points
